Fermented soybean meal(FSBM)is a product fermented with modern biological fermentation technology from Soybean meal(SBM). FSBM eliminates all anti-nutrition factors(ANFs),contains a lot of beneficial microorganisms, has advantages of good palatability, high digestibility. It can replace some animal feedstuff materials such as Plasma Protein Flour,Fish meal,Dried Porcine Solules((DPS)and Whey powder. Therefore, study on the nutritional value of FSBM is becoming current research hot point. In this research, eight kinds of typical representative FSBM samples are collected from eight manufacturers of eight provinces and autonomous regions in China.Parts of conventional ingredients of the samples are assayed with relevant national standard and the results as bellow:Water is(8.99±1.24)%,Crude ash is(6.66±0.40)%,Crude protein is(51.04±2.21)%,Calcium is(0.34±0.03)%,a total Phosphorus is(0.64±0.02)%.Trypsin inhibitors and lectin were not detected, with SDS-AGE gel electrophoresis qualitative detection of soybean antigen in theβ-conglycinin(β-Conglycinin)and soybean globulin(Glycinin),6 samples have not antigen, only two samples exist few antigen. Water-soluble protein content is(8.62±5.37)%,acid-soluble protein content is(2.67±2.46)%,FAA content is(1.61±1.43)%,soybean peptide content is(1.07±1.07)%.The in vitro digestibility of dry matter is(76.47±4.44)%and the in vitro digestibility of crude protein is(90.94±3.27)%.After the above analysis, the best FSBM without soybean antigen was selected for piglet experimentation. The purpose of the experiment was to study the effect of FSBM on growth performance in piglet.102 14-day-old crossbred piglets(Landrace×Yorkshire)were allotted to two dietary treatments on the basis of weight. Each treatment has five replications and each replicate has about 10 piglets. The control group was fed with corn-SBM diet, and the treatment group was fed with equivalent FSBM instead of SBM.The experiment was carried out for two stages. The experiment period of the first stage is 12days from 14-day-old to 26-day-old(this day weaning),the initial weight of the control group and the treatment group were(4.28±0.59)kg and(4.33±0.52kg respectively;the final weight were(6.77±1.13)kg and(7.69±0.69kg respectively;ADG increased by 35.36%(P<0.05);ADFI increased by 95.28%(P>0.05);F/G increased by 41.67%(P>0.05); rates of diarrhea decreased by 6.34%(P>0.05).The second stage, from 26-day-old to 54-day-old,The results showed that ADG of the treatment increased by 44.52%(P<0.05);ADFI increased by 12.17%(P>0.05),F/G decreased 32.70%(P<0.05);the rates of diarrhea decreased by 85.2%(P<0.05),compared with the control. Conclusion:FSBM is one protein feed of no ANFs,good palatability and high digestibility. The replacement of soybean meal by fermented soybean meal significantly increased the piglet growth performance and lowered the rates of diarrhea.
