The fermented soybean meal(FSBM)could not only contain low anti-nutritional factors,but also improve growth performance and feed utilization of livestock and poultry,so it was widely used in livestock and poultry industry,The addition of wet fermented soybean meal(WFSBM)without drying could preserve the probiotic activity and reduce the production costs.However,the directed addition of WFSBM caused that the mash feed was hardly mixed well and skidded easily during granulation,and the produced feed was very easy to mildew,and other issues.So,the addition level of WFSBM was limited in the feed.Therefore,the objective of the current experiment was to investigate the effects of different addition ways of WFSBM on pellet quality for improving the water uniformity and reducing the water content of mixed powder.Meanwhile,the study also evaluated the effects of different graded WFSBM on growth performance,immune and antioxidant capacity,and intestinal healthy in broilers.The main results are as follows:1.Effects of pretreatment process and addition levels of WFSBM on moisture content and moisture activity of premixed mash feed.The experiment was designed with a 3 × 4 × 4 factorial arrangement.The four pretreatment processes were as follows:pre-mixing and adding(process B),pre-mixing and grinding(process C),pre-mixing,cold pelleting and then grinding(process D);the ratio of WFSBM and corn meal premixing were(Hereinafter referred to as ratio)5:5,4:6,3:7 and 2:8;the addition level of WFSBM were 4%,6%,8% and 10%.The results showed that under the same ratio of WFSBM and corn meal premixing,the moisture content,water activity were significantly reduced with the change of the pretreatment process(from B to D)(P<0.01),whereas the opposite was true for the moisture uniformity.Different proportions have no significant effect on the moisture and water activity of the premixed powder(P>0.05),but it improves the water uniformity.both the moisture content and water activity increased significantly(P<0.05)with the increased level of WFSBM under the same pretreatment process.The moisture uniformity was reduced.Conclusion: The addition amount of WFSBM and the moisture uniformity of pre-mixed powder could be improved by changing the pretreatment process.2.Effects of addition levels,pretreatment process,and their interactions of WFSBM on the pellet quality.A typical broiler feed formula was selected and a 4×4factorial arrangement was designed for process experiment.Four pretreatment processes and four WFSBM addition levels were the same as experiment 1.The results showed that:(1)different pretreatment processes had effects on the pelleting performance.When the addition level of WFSBM was increased to 10%,the pretreatment process D should be chosen to ensure normal pelleting and meet the requirements of pellet quality.WFSBM can only be added to 6% by pretreatment process A and B,and 8% by pretreatment process C.(2)with the same addition amount of WFSBM,different pretreatment processes had an effect on the storage period of pellet feed.When WFSBM was added to 10% by pretreatment process D,the moisture content of pellet feed met the requirements of the pellet feed products and could meet the storage requirements of products,and there was no mildew during the shelf life.3.Effects of different levels of WFSBM on growth performance,immune and antioxidant capacity,and intestinal health in broilers.The experiment was designed with 0%(F0),6%(F6),8%(F8)and 10%(F10)WFSBM using typical broiler feed formula.A total of 768 1-day-old Kebao broilers were randomly allocated into the 4dietary treatments with 12 replicates of 16 broilers per group for a 42-day breeding experiment.The results showed that the addition 6%-10% WFSBM significantly(P <0.05)improved the growth performance,antioxidant capability,and content of cecal lactic acid bacteria,and significantly(P < 0.05)decreased the content of cecal lactic acid bacteria.In conclusion,the change of the pretreatment process could improve the moisture uniformity and pellet quality,and increase the addition level of WFSBM.In addition,pretreatment process also prolonged the storage time of the pellet feed by reducing the moisture content of the mash feed.WFSBM could benefit intestinal health by increasing the content of lactic acid bacteria in the cecum and reducing the content of salmonella,improve antioxidant capacity and growth performance in broilers. |
