This study measured oxygen consumption, day and night change of oxygen consumption rate ,suffocation point of different specifications (Ⅰ: 6.6 - 6.7 cm,Ⅱ: 8.7 - 9.2 cm,Ⅲ: average of 25.8 cm) when the characteristic temperature was 14 to 32℃(14℃,20℃,25℃,27.5℃,32℃)and 25℃,the pH was 6.0 to 8.0 (6.0,7.0,8.0).1.The oxygen consumption and oxygen consumption rate of Ancherythroculter nigrocauda fingerling was positively correlated with water temperature. The correlation equation of oxygen consumption of No. 1 and No.2 was YⅠ--1=0.0053X1.4848 (R2=0.9962),YⅡ--1=0.0038X1.7671 (R =0.9857) ; The correlation equation of oxygen consumption rate was YⅠ--2=0.0030X1.5106 (R2=0.9604X YⅡ--2=0.0014X1.6503 (R2=0.9866) . From No. 1 and No.2 an increase in oxygen consumption rate at different temperature analysed, Ancherythroculter nigrocauda fingerling could grow under experimental temperatures ranging from 14 - 32℃but the optimum growth temperature was 25 - 27.5℃.2.The oxygen consumption rate and three pH values of Ancherythroculter nigrocauda fingerling No.1 and No.2 had significant differences at 25℃.Oxygen consumption rate Of two kinds of specifications were: 7.0> 8.0> 6.0 . Ancherythroculter nigrocauda fingerling cultured in neutral and weak alkaline water is appropriate. It was the same as results of most fishs.3.The suffocation point of Ancherythroculter nigrocauda fingerling was increased slightly with the increase in water temperature and the length .There were not markedly changes in the suffocation point of Ancherythroculter nigrocauda fingerling at 25 =======,pH within 6.0 to 7.0. The suffocation point of No. 1 Ancherythroculter nigrocauda fingerling was 0.34 mg / L at 25 oooooo C .Ancherythroculter nigrocauda fingerling could bear low DO , this character benefit high-density culture and live fish listing , comparing with the analysis other fishs.4.Ancherythroculter nigrocauda fingerling physiological activities has absulutel significance yperiodic changing in 14-32======. day and night change and production of Ancherythroculter nigrocauda fingerling show that fish should be fed at high oxygen consumption rate .
