The S6K1(Ribosomal protein S6 Kinase l)is an important regulatory factor of cell growth, which has an intimate correlation with cellular growth, proliferate, protein synthesis and other important physiology process. The eIF-4E plays an crucial speed regulation contribution in translation initiation phase. The expression level S6K1 and eIF-4E gene was detected by semi-quantitative RT-PCR in chest muscle, leg muscle and liver tissue of Avian broilers and yellow-feathered broiler.The results as followsing:(1)The expression level of S6K1 gene in chest muscle tissues of Avian broilers, was higher in 5 and 6 week of age than in new hatch 1,2, 3 and 4 week of age and the lowest in new hatch. The expression level of S6K1 gene in chest muscle of yellow-feathered broiler was also the lowest in new hatch, but more stable in other ages.The expression level of S6K1 gene in leg muscle tissues of Avian broilers had no difference in different growth phases, but there was a downtrend in yellow-feathered broiler.The expression level of S6K1 gene of Avian broilers liver was the highest in 6 week age, but in yellow-feathered broiler liver had no difference in different growth phases.(2)With the increase of age, the expression level of eIF-4E gene in chest muscle tissues of Avian broilers was the highest in 5 and 6 week of age,but The the highest of yellow-feathered broile in 6 week of age.The expression level of eIF-4E gene in 6 week of age Avian broilers leg muscle tissues was higher than in others age and there was only a little it chang from new hatch to 5 week of age. In yellow-feathered broiler leg muscle tissues ,the expression level in new hatch and 1 week of age was higher than in other age.The expression level of eIF-4E gene of Avian broilers liver in 4,5 and 6 week of age was the highest , but had no difference in yellow-feathered broiler liver, in different growth phases(3) The S6K1 and eIF-4E gene were expressed in fat, heart, duodenum, spleens, liver, leg muscle and chest muscle of five-week Avian broiler in Avian broiler and yellow-feathered broiler in different growth phases . The expression level of S6K1 was higher in Avian broiler chest muscle, lower in leg muscle and spleens. It was higher in yellow-feathered broiler chest muscle and heart and duodenum, lower in leg muscle,fat and heart.The expression level of eIF-4E gene was higher in Avian broiler chest muscle, lower in leg muscle and spleens. But higher in yellow-feathered broiler chest muscle and heart and duodenum, lower in fat , heart and leg muscle.
