In the development of agriculture, vegetable production is provided with a particular dominance and degree in our country. With the gradually transform from high input and yield to high quality and no pollution for our vegetable industry, people are constantly making a lot of requirement for harmless and nutritious vegetable. However, the overdose of nitrogen fertilizer directly indused the accumulation of vegetable nitrate content in tranditional product period and seriously influenced people's health. Consequently, it is significant to explore a limited nitrogen fertilizer applied method in condition of making vegetable quantity and quality harmonious develop and exploit a decisiong support system based on internet and in high information share with the help of moden imformation technology for vegetable security production as an important question which needs to be resolved immediately nowadays.This study takes the soil nutrient information of Shouguang Shandong vegetable production base as basis data, collects all kinds of related geographic and attribute information to make up basic spatial database; surveying completely real requirement, aiming at secure demand of vegetable product, combining related study achievement, consulting the nitrogen balance module, imports variants of module parameter and basic data into system to construct fertilize module database, then exploit the decision support system for Shouguang vegetable security production based on WebGIS. Using GIS, DataBase Management System and Internet technology, this system aims to construct direct system for vegetable security production, especially for nonpolluting vegetable, satisfy the demand of agricultural scientific worker or ordinary farmer to get the rational method for secure fertilize and guide product to prevent overdose nitrogen fertilizer from accumulating vegetable nitrate content and polluting groundwater et al.In the society of GIS growing vigorously, network-trend of GIS is gradually obvious. The server technology of GIS that idea develops owing to Web Services already becomes the leader trend of GIS developing. It chooses the enterprise level GIS server platform-- ArcGIS Server platform that is able to bring maximum WebGIS technology advantage produced by ESRI; drawing support from the space database engine(ArcSDE), the space data and the attribute data are stored equally in SQL Server relate-type database, and realize the integrated management for data structure; the customer adopts the portable Internet Explore browser to carry out the data visit; it chooses Java language which merges AJAX together owing to the JSF framework to develop system in order to carry out the dynamic display of map and the visited data interactively; in the process of data organization, a series of operation were completed to set up ultimately the geographic spatial database by making use of MapGIS, ArcGIS Desktop et al., such as data convertion, attribute join, project transformation, spatial adjustment, geostatistic interpolation, zonal statistic and union analyst.Firstly, the study background and significance were discussed; current application and deficiency situation of GIS home and abroad technology in the link of vegetable security production were introduced and it pertinently suggests the study purpose and content.Secondly, Key technology in system develop process has been carried out a summary. It introduces the concept and main characteristic of WebGIS technology and Web Services idea, and summarizes detailly the application method of every component in N-balanced module. The spatil database engine (ArcSDE) technology is also present briefly.Thirdly, according to the requirement analyst, it carries out the overall design of this system, expounds the design thought and technology route, and also describes in detail the research method, design principle, exploitation environment, fuction structure and database design. Then the main function and implement method of the five modules are set forth detailly.At last,after summarizing the main characteristic of the system, the key technology, innovation idea and shortage of this system are brought forward, and the application foreground is prospected.
