| Apple is one of the main economic crops of Huangling County, Shaanxi Province. However, the output and quality was affected to some extent due to the unsuitable using chemical fertilizer, which caused the awful waste of resources. Using the modern information technology to improve the current working method and scientifically manage the apple trees is the important measure to increase the output and quality.The apple orchard soil nutrient information system of the county was built and applied using the apple producing area of Huangling County as the researching area based on lots of investigation of the development trend of soil information system and fertilization information system in the present paper. In the building process of the information system, the geographic information system technology was utilized under the environment of Visual Studio 2010. The C# programming language, ArcGIS Server platform as well as the information technology of Web sharing technology and database technology were also utilized. The design of system architecture, building of database and fertilization model and design of system function were discussed based on the soil basic data and related parameters model of the apple orchard of Huangling County. The system could provide technical support for the scientific and efficient modernization management of apple orchards agriculture and the development of fruit industry, which laid a foundation for the extension of the subsequent application system.The progresses of the research were as follows:(1)The soil nutrient spatial database and attribute database of Huangling orchard was established using the geographic information system technology based on the content of soil nutrient of Huangling apple producing area. The query and management of the soil nutrient data were realized at the same time.(2) The scientific fertilization scheme for different target yield and different fertility levels was established based on the database of orchard soil nutrient as well as the soil nutrient need regular and fertilization new theory of apple.(3) According to the principles of WebGIS program design and ideas, the system was developed on the ArcGIS Server platform with.NET frame. The functions, such as system map basic operation, nutrient information query and location, thematic map browsing, fertilizer recommendation and so on, were realized. |
