Study On Variety Selection And Distribution Of Characteristic Flue-cured Tobacco In Linyi

The tobacco leaf is the cigarette industry's raw material, which determines the quality and style of cigarette to a large extent. Different group of consumers have different requirements for the cigarette' style. With the continuous improvement of people's living standards and the needs for the diverse types of cigarettes, deep change has happened in cigarette product in China, which has put forward higher requirements for the quality and style of tobacco.Linyi is the main tobacco-cultivated area in Shandong Province. But in recent years, due to the single varieties of cultivation tobacco and other reasons, the characteristics of tobacco in Linyi become not so distinct. The quality of tobacco cigarette can't suffice the needs of cigarette mixing method.In this study we intend to improve the distinct quality of tobacco in Linyi.n order to achieve the purpose, we exam the quality of the new and the old tobacco varieties .we screened out 3 flue-cured tobacco varieties, which have distinct features and are suitable for cultivation in Linyi. We also mapped out a practical and reasonable scheme of regional distribution of these tobacco varieties. The main results are as fellows:1. We Screened out zhongyan99,zhongyan100 and yunyan87 three flue-cured tobacco varieties with excellent quality and CF209,CF986,RGH51 three preservative varieties. Through the new and the old varieties comparative test we found that zhongyan100 and NC89 have the best performance,and yunyan85, yunyan87, NC82, K326 the better. With tobacco planting and quality types region division results, we proposed new species and reserve varieties suitable for cultivation region.(1) Zhongyan100 has broader adaptability, and it is suitable for better conditions in the fertilizer hilly, semi-hilly area planting.(2) Zhongyan99 has better performance in Pingyi and Junan.It is suitable for planting in plains, hills, and semi-hills with plenteous water and fertilizer.(3) Yunyan87 has better performance in Yinan and Junan. They are suitable for planting in plains, hills, and semi-hills with plenteous water and fertilizer.(4) CF986 has outstanding performance in Lvnan, while CF209 has better performance in Yishui.2. We established the regional distribution program of flue-cured tobacco varieties in the four main types of soil areas in Linyi.(1) In sub-leaching cinnamon areas, cinnamon and rough bone acidic soil district of Yimeng, the main cultivation varieties is NC82 and zhongyan100 in south, while in north the main cultivation varieties is zhongyan98 and yunyan85.(2) In cinnamon leaching humid sub-humid areas and crude bone acidic soil district, the main cultivation varieties is NC82 and zhongyan100. While in the poor water and fertilizer areas,zhongyan98 and yunyan85 are the main cultivation varieties .(3) In sub-soil acidity thick bone and ma sand brown soil zone of Yidong, NC82, yunyan87 and NC89 are the main tobacco plant varieties, zhongyan100 and K326 as complementary varieties.(4) In moist soil acidic thick bone and ma sand brown soil area of Shudong, NC82,yunyan87 and NC89 are used as the mainly tobacco plant varieties,while zhongyan100 and K326 are used as complementary varieties.3. The quality type and style of tobacco is relative stability, and it is caused by various factors. Within a certain scope, the quality style of tobacco do not change significantly.
