Melatonin(MT) is synthetized and excreted in conarium. It plays a great adjustive part in linking external nature light and kinds of organism apparatus ,and it is important to adjust the biologic rhythm , to control genital internal secretion, to immune activity and to so on, in animal body.MT not only adjusts the rate of monocyte (M) linking up eyewinker, tunes up some specific and nonspecific immune exponents of animal organism such as half hemolysis of serum , the number of antibody-forming cells in vitro and the transform rate of lymphocyte(L), but also administers haematogenous mechanism of marrow and impels differentiation speed of haematogenous stem cells.On all accounts,all kinds of blood cells belong to immune cells, but this article only researches how MT influences several indexes of immunity such as the white blood cell count(WBC)and the white blood differrential count(WBDC) during the different period hours one day and the function of spleen and thymus gland by the way of doing experiment in Mus musculus albus.The light operates weightily the natural exudation of MT in conarium in normal time.The writer studied lots of papers and experimentalized Mus musculus albus so that he was able to observe the detailed outcome.The result made clear that along with the intension of nature light less and less at night,the exudation quantity of MT became more and more manifolded ,the WBC level also ascended up-and-up and the percent all kinds of white cell also changed probablily.Especially at midnight (1: 00—3: 00) , due to the MT quantity ascended its max in serum, the WBC level enhanced its peak,and the percents of all sorts of white cells transformed their limit.On the other way round,it was on the day time.the illumination was stronger than the nighttime. the exudation quantity of serum MT reduced,and the WBC level was lower and lower,and the percents of all kinds of white cells transformed to their adverse direction.the rate of neutrophil(H) in blood debased,on the contrary,the percent of lymphocyte hoisted galacticly and the rate of monocyte also ascended to a certain extent.the percent of eosinophil(E) was not much influensed by light.On the midday, as a result of the light arriving its max,the immune indexes described in the article transformed their another limit. By way of validating the WBC level and the percent of white cell movement being arosed by the MT concentration in blood of mice organism,The writer did experiment by metatonin injected into the abdominal cavity. The result indicated that their movement was acosed by different MT dose groups. The density of white blood cells remarkably increased as the dose of injected metatonin steping up.The result also indicated that MT influenced the mechanisms of immune organs such as spleen and thymus gland and the state of the humoral immunity in Mus musculus albus .The weight of the spleen raised to a certain extent because of injecting different dose of melatonin and the HD50 in serum also advanced gradually as the dose of melatonin increased.Thus it can be seen that the melatonin is important to adjust immune enginery of animal bodys by its naturam excreting from conarium and some propotional organs in which melatonin is able to be synthetized and excreted depending on the rhythmicity of illumination.
