Study On The Instrument And Technology Of Industrialized Nursery Process For Tender Branch Cutting

Abstract/Summary:
The degree of industrialized nursery process for tender branch cutting lies on the degree of combination between the mechanical,electronical and bio-environmental control technology and the biotechnology.At present,The degree of industrialized nursery process for tender branch cutting is somewhat low in China.The conventional equipments and complementary technologies have many problems which display prominently in three aspects: Firstly,cutting facilities are too simple,together with more limiting factors in operating time, high labor intensity and the low standardized degree;Secondly,the gas and liquid phase indicators of culture medium in floor-seedbed are non-uniform and difficult to be controlled. The conventional cultivating measure is not suitable for industrial production,which brings about waste of resources and environmental pollution because of low recovery rate of culture medium;Thirdly,the water brought by spray facilities is over-spray and uneven,which results in waste of resources and energy.The common moisture control instrument on leaf surface only control the frequency of spraying water,and can not control the intensity of single-spray water accurately.In order to explore how to improve the level of industrialized nursery process for tender branch cutting,the rotating part of conventional spray facilities for tender branch cutting were partly optimized in the paper.Combining with the main problems in practice,the cutting boxes,electric- box nursery and fixed-nozzle mist system were designed and produced.The function parameters of these facilities were measured and the results on the rooting experiment were analyzed.The research results showed that:1.The essentials of cutting box including the following.The cutting box consists of meshy flat rectangular-shaped ice sandwich on the inside roof,side boards of opening outside, vents and multi-compartment sink at the bottom,which adopts the cutting to be in the environment with micro-light,a lower temperature,a certain humidity,suitable oxygen content in a short time.After measurement and analysis on experiments,the temperature inside the cutting box dropped to 19~20℃within 5 minutes when putting into 3~4kg ice, close to the situations of temperature,humidity and light intensity in cloudy weather. Compared with the state that there is no ice in the box,the survival percentage of tender branch cuttings was improved greatly.The improved cutting box made it possible to work in any time during the day,and to a large extent,increased the productivity. 2.The essentials of electric-box nursery.The electric-box nursery consists of 2 removable-plug side boards,a floor with the piles for laying to wire and other power facilities to ensure safety.It can heat culture medium and can be moved freely in the process of cutting production.The aim of the electric-box nursery is breeding the cutting stocks in assembly line, which improved the level of industrialized nursery process and enhanced the utilization rate of recycling culture medium at the same time.In addition,the electric-box nursery was equipped with the low-voltage electric heating facilities,which ensured it safe to heat culture medium in humid,washy environment.The experiment showed that raising the temperature of cutting culture medium appropriately could increase the amount of tender branch cutting's roots greatly.The problem that the traditional disk-shaped seedbed was difficult to be heated evenly was solved by using the electric-box nursery.3.Experiments on culture medium selection.A variety of common culture mediums for nursery bed were suited to use in the electric-box nursery.The results of using perlite and vermiculite as culture mediums for tender branch cutting were evidently better than that of using river sand.Compared with disk-shaped nursery bed,the electric-box nursery enhanced the air permeability of culture medium evidently,due to the overhead structure of the electric-box nursery that made it easier to spread the gas through culture medium,and its unique structure that promoted the gas to move along with periodic spray under compulsion. The working principle of the electric-box nursery and the rooting mechanisms of cutting is a perfect match,so the electric-box nursery can provide more appropriate surroundings for tender branch cuttings to take root.The electric-box nursery is greatly superior to disk-shaped nursery bed in improving the level of industrialized nursery process for tender branch cutting.4.The essentials of fixed-nozzle mist system.This system includes multi-functional water supply facilities,water wells,ponds for cleaning water,devices for emitting ultraviolet light and controlling water level,pressure tank,consoles for controlling electromagnetic valve orderly,devices for selecting nozzle and recycling water,and other subsidiary facilities.The users reduced the production costs of seedling-raising for tender branch cutting evidently by using the whole optimizing system.The optimized combination of the instrument to control leaf surface water and consoles for controlling electromagnetic valve orderly,achieved precise control of single-spray water intensity,and increased the number of the plant species that were suitable for tender branch cutting,for example,drought-resistant plants.At the same time,the mist system promoted the level of standardization and industrialization in tender branch cutting equipments greatly.
