Cinnamomum japonicum sieb.,Phoebe chekiangensis C.B.Shang,Neolitsea Sericea(BI) Koidz,Taxodium 'Zhongshansa118' are beautiful trees,greening effect well.In recent years,all were used in south areas of the yangtze river.But,the limited seed resources and the low breeding efficiency in condition of field general, low survival rate of seedlings,limited their scale breedling of seedlings.Container in the nursery seedling production is able to overcome these disadvantages.Then nursery seedling of four species was necessary.But research of nursery containers of the four species are rarely,and not systematic.In tackling these questions,the paper studied morphological,physiological aspects of C.japonicum,P.chekiangensis,N. Sericea and 'Zhongshansal 18' in different matrix planting conditions,combined analyzing physical and chemical matrix to screen suitable matrix.On the basis of this,the effect of different concerntration of foliar fertilizer on growth of four species,and found the suitable concemtration of foliar fertilizer,provided the technology support for nursery containers of four species.Screening of nursery containers matrix:18 kinds of matrix formula were prepared by peat,perlite,vermiculite,rice husk,broad-leaved wood under different volume and then to control garden soil.By comparison of diameter at foot,root length,plant height, the ratio of height to diameter,shoot root ratio,fresh wight of shoot,fresh wight of root,dry wight of shoot,dry wight of root,root-top ratio,root activity,soluble sugar contents,the contents of soluble protein,Chlorophyll content and other indexes, combined with the physicochemical properties of matrix,and results showed that peat: vermiculite:Hardwood chips=7:2:1 was the best seedling nursery matrix of C. japonicum containers,then peat:vermiculite:Hardwood chips=8:1:1 formula could be selected.Peat:vermiculite:Hardwood chips=5:3:2 was the best matrix of P. chekiangensis container seedling nursery;taking into account the simple,easy maneuverability,peat:vermiculite=3:2 could be selected.Peat:vermiculite: Hardwood chips=5:3:2 was the best matrix of N.Sericea container seedling nursery, then peat:vermiculite=3:2 also could be used.Peat:vermiculite:rice husk=5:3: 2 was the best matrix of 'Zhongshansa118' containers seedling nursery,then peat: vermiculite=3:2 could be selected.Screening of the concentration of foliar fertilizer:2%,4%,6%,8%of the water-soluble fertilizer of N:P:K=20:20:20 was sprayed to annual seedlings of four species.By comparison of diameter at foot,root length,plant height,the ratio of height to diameter,shoot root ratio,fresh wight of shoot,fresh wight of root,dry wight of shoot,dry wight of root,root-top ratio,root activity,soluble sugar contents,the contents of soluble protein,Chlorophyll content and other indexes,results indicated that 4%was the appropriate concentration of C.japonicum and P.chekiangensis container seedlings.And 6%was the appropriate concentration of N.sericea and 'Zhongshansa118' container seedlings.
