| As rice direct seeding spares such fussy processes as raising seedlings and drawing seedlings and transplanting rice seedlings, it is simplest planting manner among rice light planting technique. It is adapt to international developmental trend. With low laboring intensity ,little material resuming, high benefit and convenience operation, rice direct seeding has a wide development future.In this paper, a new kind of seeding device of rice direct seeding machine was designed. The relational theoretical analysis and experiment were performed. The research was done as follows:1. Experiment of the material-properties of rice bud seeds.2. The principle of Metering device's work and the choice of main structure parameters.3. Metering device's kinematics and dynamics analysis.By analysis we know:It is a kind of left oblique movement of certain beginning speed when it is out of the model hole. This will help to achieve zero-speed operation and reduce seeds' movement time in the metering device.4. Using of home-made test bed, through single factor test and multiple factors Orthogonal test, taking metering device metering uniformity of the coefficient of variation and broken rate for the trial indicators, we know that impact of metering primary and secondary factors of uniformity of the coefficient of variation and broken rate Respectively were Seeding round of speed , shape of model hole, depth of model hole and depth of model hole ,shape of model hole, Seeding round of speed. The optimum combination of high Metering uniformity is A2B3C3, that is to say when the speed of seeding cylinder is 35 r/min, the model-hole is oval-shape hole, the depth of model-hole is 4mm ,the result is better; the optimum combination of lower crushing rate is A1B3C2, that is to say when the speed of seeding cylinder is 15 r/min,the model-hole is oval-shape hole,the depth of model-hole is 3 mm ,the result is better.
