This dissertation presents the present development of rice combine at home and abroad and the running principle of typical threshing and separating system.And comparative experimental investigations are done between different head-feed threshing and separating systems.In this paper,firstly,the rice's configuration parameters,agricultural characteristics are measured.And based on the characteristics of rice and the developmental situation of head-feed combine in our country at the present time,we choose four kinds of head-feed threshing and separating systems mentioned previously as subjects investigated and carry out experimental investigations on the self-designed test device.Through experiments we get the un-threshed loss rate, entrainment loss rate,total loss rate and power consumption of the four devices,and make a comparison with them between the different systems.Furthermore,the mathematical models of threshing and separating with low lose rate and power consumption are established by DPS software.Lastly,we utilize a multi-objective optimization based on MATLAB optimum toolbox in order to get the comprehensively optimistic operating parameters for it.In addition,three new drums are designed according to the theory and experimental results of the analysis of Head-feed threshing and separating system.And clamping chain is improved in accordance with test questions found in experiment.Based on the investigation of characteristics of rice,analyzing on the experimental results of four different types of Head-feed threshing and separating system,we make out the differences of working performance of them,which deepens our understanding on working regularity of different threshing and separating systems. At the same time,the best working parameters are determined through establishing mathematical models and proceeding multi-objective optimization for the threshing and separating system with having better property.Moreover,all these research results provide some theoretical basis for further research on the threshing and separating system of rice combine,and play an important and realistic role in accelerating mechanization of head-feed rice harvest in our country.
