Growth Performance And Adaptive Research Of Turfgrass In The Shengdong Mining Area

Abstract We introduceted and studied eight vatiery of Kentucky Bluegrass (Nuglade,RugbyⅡ,MidnightⅡ,Award,Blacksburg,Moonshine,Turfally,Kenblue) and two ryegrass varieties (CitationforeⅣ, Salinas) in the papers, in accordance with the existing soil and irrigation conditions of Shendong mining area。We carried out a detailed observation and research to test turf grass,which include color,texture,density,regeneration rate,leaf water content,different fertilizer treatments on the impact of the lawn,the basic biological characteristics,the scope of the lawn trim suitable,comprehensive evaluation and application of technology。The results show that the best varieties is MidnightⅡ,the rest were RugbyⅡ,Award,Turfally,Blacksburg,Kenblue,the worst are Nuglade and Moonshine。The mixed composition are better than Single variety,so it is proposed that Shendong mining area should plant mixed lawn, such as five mixed composition in the study。In the application technology,it adds a small amount of detergent in the herbicide ,which can enhance the role of herbicide to reduce the cost of manual removal weeds;Pruning is essential one of the measures of turf quality In Day-to-Day management of the conservation。It is 5～9cm for test the lawn an appropriate range of trim; fertilization should be carried out 3 times at least a year, and It is appropriate that fertilization is Urea and DAP according to the ratio of 1:1。...
