Research Of Swine Pseudorabies Control Technology

Pseudorabies(PR) has been a serious disease problem and caused considerable economic losses in porcine industry in the world. In the last few years PR widely exist in Fujian Province, popular day by day serious, the harm is more and more obvious, for contains PR effectively the unpopularity, it is necessary to select the formalization demonstration pig farm to carry on the PR to control technical the integration and the demonstration, carries on the PR for our province the control, the purification even eradicates provides the theory basis and the technical support.The technical guarantee for prevention,control evne eradiate the PRV was the use of gene deleted vaccine and corresponding differential diagnostic kits. To integrate and demonstrate the control technology of swine PR, propose the eradition plan for PR in FuJian province the following studies was carried out : The screening of gene-deleted vaccine and corresponding differential diagnosis reagent box was developed in a formalization pig farm. Gene-deleted vaccine(HB-98) and gE-ELISA differential diagnostic kit which produced by WuHan keqian animal biological product Co., Ltd.were selected. Then, investigation of serum epidemiology was completed, results showed that the pig' s PRV infection rate was increased with the breeding time elongation in farms; Depending on the actural situations in farms, immunization procedure,the time to detect serum and corresponding measures for preventing and controlling PRV had been formulated; According to the principle of reinforcement vaccination,recling detection,separate group breeding and forcing rejected, the PRV control measures have been enforced from March, 2006 to September, 2008 in a pig farm. Resultes indicated that PRV infection rate in various stages pig has dropped to inner 10%,degree of antibody uniformity has been enhanced,immunity qualified rate has been remarkable promoted to 90% and each production index has been enhanced or improved compared to the past."Three stages model" project for controlling or even eradicating PRV has been prosoped based on above conclusion,this project provid the theory basis and technical support for large scale swine breeding industry in FuJian province.
