Assimilating resource allocation has important influence on growth, competitation and structural formation of plant and is the key to plant growth. In different growth stages, physiological process and survival environment of plants have important influence on assimilate allocation, allocation process will change with different environment and growth stages. 4 materials (Bromus inermis Leyss.) were taken as object of study in this experiment. They were evaluated with single plant of different gorwing season under field condition. The results were obtained by analysis of biomass and its allocation, soluble sugar content and its allocation, dynamic state of quantitative traits of plant branch and inflorescence quantitative traits in different gowing season. They are as follows:(1) Biomass of single palnt of Bromus inermis Leyss.cv.'Qitai'was highest, Bromus inermis Leyss.cv.'Gongnong'was lowest in all growth stages; plants and structural component biomass had significance difference among different gowth stages and materials. Stepwise regression analysis showed that vegetative brance and stem were the major components effecting above ground biomass of Bromus inermis Leyss.cv.'Qitai'and fertile stem was the major components effecting above ground biomass of Bromus inermis Leyss.cv.'Gongnong', B. inermis Leyss.cv.'Elsberry'and B. inermis Leyss.cv.'Carton'.(2)Variation trend of allocation of same structural component biomass of 4 materials and it's growth process were similar. The difference of allocation of same structural component biomass of same materials among growth seasons was significance, and the difference of same growth season among different materials was not significance. Stem occupied a fairly large proportion(37%~59%) among allocation of fertile stem biomass. Grain of Bromus inermis Leyss'Elsberry.'occupied a highest proportion (65.19%), Bromus inermis Leyss.cv.'Qitai'occupied a lowest proportion (47.40%) among allocation of inflorescence biomass. It was in favor of increasing of weight and quantity of seed that higher maturing rate, inflorescence biomass and grain percentage.(3) Fertile stem height was proportional to inflorescence length among materials and inverse proportional to growth of fertile stem.(4) Total shoot number of single plants and fertile stem number of Bromus inermis Leyss.cv.'Qitai'were maximum and Bromus inermis Leyss.cv.'Gongnong'was minimum .Ratio of fertile stem of single plant (anthesis) of Bromus inermis Leyss.cv.'Qitai'was highest(91.4%)and Bromus inermis Leyss. was lowest(59.79%).Elongation stage, milking maturity stage to full maturity stage and scorch stage were peak time of root sucker buds formation of Bromus inermis Leyss.;full maturity stage to scorvh stage was critical period for increasing of tiller of Bromus inermis Leyss..(5)Changes of soluable sugar content and it's allocation among every component of Bromus inermis Leyss. had significance difference among growth period ,component and variety. It was favor to inflorescence growth , increasing of setting percentage and thousand grain weight that higher soluble sugar content of stem and inflorescence.
