Rosa beggeriana Schrenk: Shrubs 1.5~3m tall. Branchlets purple-brown, terete, slightly curved, glabrous; prickles scattered and in pairs below leaves, yellowish, hooked, to 8mm, slender to stout, gradually tapering to broad base.During the continual source reserches from 2006~2008 in the north area of Xinjiang,we got 5 population which are Shihezi Huocheng Nileke Xinyuan Nalati. The research filled and riched the information of Rosa beggeriana Schrenk in Xinjiang and studied the genetic diversity of the population in two different methods: the phaenotype and molecular markers. We got a lot of information about the mutation and the genetic distance among the population , also discussed the Physical and Environmental effect factors of the genetic distance.Our research used the method of cluster analysis among the population of Rosa beggeriana Schrenk by 8 charactors. The result shows the coefficient of variability is from 11.7%~67.7%, the correlation result shows the longth of flower shoot, the flower diameter, the longth and width of fruit have direct correlation with the longtitude, the correlation coefficient is from 0.796 to 0.919, the longth of leave and leafit, the width of leafit have direct correlation with the temperature, the correlation coefficient is from 0.7778 to 0.9048. The result quite fit the reference researches about the correlation between the charactors and the climate factors.The analysis of molecular markers used the AFLP method, cut the DNA from the 5 population with EcoR I and Mse I incision enzyme, and choose 8 pairs of primer for the PCR. We got 191 markers from 100~800bp( 23.9 markers per primer), during these markers there are 47 polymorphic markers,(5.9 polymorphic marker per primer), 24.2% in all markers. The Ht is 0.4088, Hs is 0.3242, Gst is 0.2068, Nm*is 1.9172. From the analysis we can discovered the genetic distance results of the phaenotype and molecular markers are not fit , the explain is: the phenotypic variation often affected by the Physical and Environmental factors, these factors have a little effect the genetic variation affected, the genetic distance of the molecular markers can efficiently and precisely the relationships of the population.Rosa beggeriana Schrenk have a lot of good charactors for example: its flower season can be from April to September, has fine resistance of drought and plant diseases and insect pests. We can use it for the sprigging operation in the polluted cities, also can introduct the good gene resourse in the breeding of modern rose.For the father study of the Rosa beggeriana Schrenk, we should expand the investigation of the resource, rich the information of it, doing deeply research about the resource evolution by using different high technology method of molecular marker. We can hope to get good germplasm resource which can used in the breeding area of the modern rose. It is believed that can make more developing in the flowers occupation of China.
