Artificial seeds are a kind of granule that are able to germinate and bourgeon under fitting condition ,which are made of embryo and plant tissue. Compared by natural seeds ,it has great deal of advantages, for instance, the fastness of heterosis , fast propagating especially for these plants which are too rare to breed ,which are modified by gene engineering,. The key technologies of manufacturing of artificial seeds include the large-scale producing of high-quality embryo ,the study on materials of seed capasule. The storage of artificial seeds. The gathering its wild resource as seeds chronically, its lower progenitive coefficient ,its serious virus disease result in the instability of medicine quality ,the reducing of pharmic efficacy,the increasing ponderance of its disease and the drying-up of its wild resource.the both of factots lead to the result that its production is gradually losing its sustainable development capacity .Therefore,the study aims at discussing the influencial factors upon germination percentage and bergeoning percentage of artificial seed by comparing the different influencial factors under natural and artificial condition, and developing new kinds of artificial seed capsule to provide the support for the large-scale production and application of artificial seed of Pinellia ternate. The following are main show:1 .The experiment uses laminae and leafstalk of Pinellia ternate as explant which induces callus .during the inducement ,the experiment shows that the lower leafstalk is the best tissue in inducement rate and the growing status of callus.laminae is better tissue than upper leafstalk.2. The experiment of shows that of the 7 kinds of combination though they are all able to germinate, there is large difference in germination rate and initiatory germination time. The sixth is highest,its germination rate up to 84% and growing well when it has been germinated for 12 days.. The combination of NAA(0.2mg/L)& GA3(0.01mg/L) is very important in germinating.3.Use the selected artificial seeds that have highest germination rate as experimental material to do the optimizing storage experiments of artificial seed of Pinellia ternate,the result shows that both dehydration and temperature are the important factors that effect on germination rate and living rate.and yet the effect of storage temperature is not remarkable.4.The storage of low temperature on artificial seed of Pinellia ternate is propitious to keep the living-capability. High temperature is a disbenefit condition for the long-period storage. The experiments suggest that the storage period of 28 days be adopted ,that is to say , deposit the prepared artificial seeds under such environmental condition as 14℃, and un-dehydration the storage period of 28 days,which can both improve germination rate and prolong the storage time as possible as can.
