Rice straw resource was rich, however, it was used inadequately and inefficiently. In order to solve such issues as large-scale straw silage equipment needs high cost, not suitable for the production in a family. In this research, plastic bag was used to carry out bag-type silage technology. As the rice varieties numerous, and the living conditions were complicated, seven kinds of rice varieties were selected to study the silage characteristics. The results are as follows:1) There was significant difference between the three kinds of exhausting treatments(E.T): No exhausting(NE),once exhausting(OE),twice exhausting(TE). After being treated by the three kinds of exhausting treatments, pH value=4.044~4.592, TBN=0.6007~0.2813. The pH and TBN of twice exhausting was the lowest, and TE was significant different from NE and OE(P<0.05). After being treated by NE, OE, TE for 8d, 20d, 45d, the changing trend of the content of WSC and CP was TE>OE>NE, and was significant different (P<0.05). The ADF and NDF of the silo treated by TE were higher than those treated by NE and OE, and the fiber content dictates the positive correlation. As the time goes by, the changing trend of the pH and the TBN Content of the silo treated by NE, OE and TE were consistent.2) High concentration sucrose and corn flower can be added to lower the PH and TBN content and to improve the silo quality. After C,D concentration level of sucrose and corn flower being added to the silo and storage for 8d,20d, 45d, the pH was below 4.2; when 8d and 20d, the pH of corn flower treated silo was higher that of sucrose, however, when 45days, it was on the contrary; the pH value of 8d, 20d, 45d silo trend for: D0.05); the NDF, ADF of silo treated by B,C,D level were significant lower than that of A level(P<0.05). According to pH values below 4.2, significant analysis results of TBN, WSC, CP, etc between four sugar adding level, indicating that the most suitable add level was corn flour:50g/kg·FM and sucrose:5%.3) The fresh materials nutrition character of G-46A was better than that of G-26; the ensilaged feeds pH value and TBN of G-26 was higher than that of G-46A. The H2O,CP,NDF,ADF contents were significant different between the two rice straw at the 8d, 20d, 45d, respectively.4) The rice straw silage character was closely related with its variety, planting area and condition. The character of II Y series and G-257 varieties was better than others. The ADF,NDF contents of ZY-238,CXY-6 and GY series were different at the level of P=0.01, all higher than that of IIY series(P<0.05). The analysis results ofIIY and GY series nutrition contents showed that there was similar of the same series; DM,WSC,CP of were significant different as the planting area changed.5) There was pole significant negative correlation between the pH and DM,CP,WSC, pH was positive correlated with the TBN. The CP was pole significant negative correlated with the TBN.
