The new, efficient and cheap coating material is a research hotspot in Slow/Controlled release fertilizer research, and for its advantages of raising utilization ratio of chemical fertilizer, improving crop quality and soil environment, it gradually become a development trend of fertilizer in the world, but due to the high cost coating material and complex processing technology, it's hard for our country to popularize and apply in agricultural production in large area. The palygorskite was adopted as the new coating material to test the releasing and controlling effect on Brussica napus L, and the main results are as follows:1. There are significant effects of 20% palygorskite coating diammonium phosphate fertilizer on economic characters of spring rape. The experiment results of the year 2007 showed that under the condition of N, P content at the same level , the plant height, density of siliquae and total of spring rape under the treatment of 20% palygorskite coating diammonium phosphate, which reached 87.10cm, 1.11 per cm and 57.08 and increased by 0.40%, 9.90% and 1.21% compared with the uncoated diammonium phosphate fertilizer; The experiment results of the year 2008 showed that under the condition of application single P, the treatment of 20% palygorskite coating diammonium phosphate can increase the plant height, number of first branch, number of second branch, total branches, length of main florescence, siliquae of main florescence, length of siliquae and yield per plant by 0.5%,5.1%,2.2%,7.1%,2.4%,0.2%,1.4% and 0.4% respectively when compared with the uncoated diammonium phosphate fertilizer. In according to the influence order of the main economic characters, it showed that the best releasing effect treatmeat is 20% palygorskite coating diammonium phosphate.2. There are some effects of 20% palygorskite coating diammonium phosphate fertilizer on the yield and biomass of spring rape. The experiment results of the year 2007 showed that under the condition of N, P content at the same level, the treatment of highest biomass of spring rape is 20% palygorskite coating diammonium phosphate, which reached 74.5 g/pot, and increased by 124.19% and 13.39% respectively compared with control and uncoated diammonium phosphate fertilizer. The experiment results of the year 2008 showed that under the condition of application single P, the treatment of 20% palygorskite coating diammonium phosphate can get the highest yield, which reached 14.05g/pot, and increased by 43.37% and 7.05% compared with control and common diammonium phosphate respectively, so it showed that the treatment of 20% palygorskite coating diammonium phosphate can increase yield and fertilize utilization of spring rape, and the treatment also get the highest economic coefficient, which is 19.1%.3. There are some effects of coated fertilizers on the biomass of spring wheat. The experiment results of the year 2007 showed that under the condition of N, P content at the same level, the treatment of 20% palygorskite coating diammonium phosphate could get the highest biomass of spring wheat, which is 36.80 g/pot, and increased by 37.9% and 2.4% respectively compared with control and uncoated diammonium phosphate fertilizer, and the treatment also get the highest total biomass, which is 110.9 g/pot, and increased by 85.88% and 9.2% respectively compared with control and uncoated diammonium phosphate fertilizer. The experiment results of the year 2008 showed that under the condition of application single P, the treatment of 20% palygorskite coating diammonium phosphate can get the highest biomass of spring wheat and the total biomass, which reached 47.08 g/pot and 120.67 g/pot, and increased by 34.9% and 8.5% respectively compared with uncoated diammonium phosphate fertilizer, so it showed that the treatment of 20% palygorskite coating diammonium phosphate has good effect on releasing fertilizer.4. In according to the evaluation of comprehensive resistance, 15% palygorskite coating diammonium phosphate treatment has the best anti-aging and stress resistance, the value is 1.0433. The experiment results also showed that the coated fertilizer has good releasing effect, and it can improve the generation of chlorophyll and protein of spring wheat.
