As the further research of inter-generic hybridization within the Chrysanthemum in broad sense, the thesis focuses on Chrysanthemum and it's relative genera. In order to improve the germplasm resources of Chrysanthemum taking advantage of wild germplasm of Chrysanthemum in broad sense. And appropriate materials were chosen to make intergeniric cross, which also supply experimental evidence for identifying the affilination between these genera..During the researching experiod, wild germplasm resources, distributing in our country, were surveyed, collected, introducted and propagated. The new wild germplasm resources, collected during 2007-2009 include Hippolytia trifida, Ajania variifolia, Ajania purpurea, Cancrinia maximowiczii, Chrysantheumu foliaceum. Brachanthemum gobicum were propagated by tissue culture, and suitable media formulations were selected respectively:the initial culture medium prescription is MS+6-BA 0.25 +NAA 0.01; the subculture medium prescription is MS+6-BA 0.3+NAA 0.05; the rooting medium prescription is 1/2MS+IBA0.1.Based on the current germplasm resources, the intergeneric crosses between Chrysanthemum and it's relative genera were conducted, involving 5 genera,154species, and 1 generic hybrid, composing 50 combinations, and 42439 achenes. At last,865 plantlets were obtained. After identified by morphological characters, chromosome observation in root tip cells, five kinds of intergeneric hybrids were confirmed to be real hybrids, and they are Ajania achilloides X Chrysanthemum mongolicum, (A. pacifica×C. vestitum)×C.coreanum, A. pacifica×Opisthopappus taihangensis, (A. pacifica×O. taihangensis)×O. taihangensis. A. achilloides×C. mongolicum can be not identified as ture hybrid by ncpGS gene sequence analysis.In addition, intergeneric hybrids among the three genera of Ajania, Opisthopappus and Chrysanthemum were obtained by intergeneric distant hybridization. It was considered as ture hyrid by morphological characteristics and cytological identification.
