Bale is the main product in the processing areas of grass products , but it is extremely easy to going mouldy in the storage process, and restricting the Healthy Development of Grass Product Processing Industry and Animal Husbandry seriously. Therefore, the Mildewproof of bale has become the security key can not be ignored in bale storage.In this thesis, "Grasslands 2" alfalfa has been as the tests stuff,and been cut and dried on the early flowering stage, labeled with different density bale after two Natural Mould Inhibitors (CaO and Tangerine peel) treatments, sampled periodic and determined various indexes, studyed further on the influence of alfalfa bale nutrition, feeding and digestion characteristics of value which is the two different amounts of Mould Inhibitors from the sensory, nutritional composition and in vitro digestibility level in different densities, and selected the appropriate density of alfalfa bale and the appropriate amount of two Mould Inhibitors. The purpose is providing practical theory for safe storage of alfalfa bale.Through tests research and analysis discussion,the following conclusions are:(1) At high moisture (25%~28%) conditions,there would be occurred different mouldy without any mould measures,and there would be the lowest mouldy as 150kg/m3,nutrients were well preserved.(2) Alfalfa bale storaged in high moisture after adding Mould Inhibitors, it can reduce the mouldy effectively, and increase the bale quality. This test of the mould treatment with 3% CaO and 0.4% Tangerine peel are the most significant treatment, and the rate of nutrient preservation is the highest.(3) By researching on the in vitro digestibility of alfalfa bale in different Mould Inhibitor treatments, obtained that adding Mould Inhibitor can improve the bale digestibility effectively, the treatment with 3% CaO and 0.4% Tangerine peel are the best treatment, and the digestibility are the highest .
