The objective of this experiment was to preliminarily research mould prevention on fox feed with forge liquid mould inhibitors under normal storage conditions and to determine suitable dosage in the application process. Selected Surface-the product of Novus as inhibitor, added different dosages in growing fox feed, the added level was0(control group),0.5%(group A),1.0%(group B),1.5%(group C),2.0%(D group),2.5%(group E). Environment temperature, relative humidity, feed temperature, appearance changes, moisture content, crude protein content, ether extract content and the number of molds were measured regularly in storage and the test data were analyzed statistically. Discussed the feasibility of liquid mould inhibitors on fox feed, suitable additive amount, mold-preventing timeliness, mildew effects and feed palatability, etc. The results were as follows:1It was feasible to add suitable liquid mould inhibitors in fox feed.2Adding liquid mould inhibiters could inhibit moulds reproduction and extend feed storage time; in the designed added levels, adding1.5%(group C),2.0%(group D),2.5%(group E) had excellent mould prevention and the fox feed could store180days safely.3It had a similar mildew effect when adding0.5%(group A) and1.0%(group B).4Adding liquid mould inhibitors could obviously improve the feed moisture content, as adding dose increasing, the moisture content of feed and the retention of added water increasing.5In storage, the moisture content reduction degree of test group (group A, B, C, D, E) was less than control group, suggesting that adding liquid mould inhibitors could effectively retain water and not easy to be lost.6The feed intake of fox after adding liquid mould inhibitors was group B> group C> group A> group D> group E.
