Caragana has a variety of good characteristics, such as wind and sand fixation, strong tolerance, and high nutritional value. So it has both the higher ecological value and feeding value. However, for a long time, the traditional cutting style only attach importance to its ecological value, but ignoring its feeding advantage. That resulting in the waste of resources. This paper take the Caragana that growth in Erdos Etuokeqianqi Sanduandi country as the study object, make the reaserch on the key technology of cutting Caragana during its growing season, and finally find the key technology of cutting Caragana during its growing season, moreover assessment its effect all-round. The conclusions are as follows:①The growing season cutting by appropriate ways does not affect the growth of Caragana. On the contrary, it will promote the growth of shoots and reducing its lignification. And its nutrients content is higher than the traditional cutting, thus it is not only conducive to the ecological management effects but also benefit to the livestock grazing.②The cutting frequency of Caragana in growing season should not be too often. It can be taken by once every other year.③The optimum stubble height of cutting Caragana in growing season is 2 ~ 4cm, too low or too high are not conducive to the regeneration of its tiller and shoot.④Cutting Caragana in growing season has a significant impact on the roots storage nutrition substance, thereby affecting its turning green and branches renewable. But the storage of nutrient in roots can meet the need for their normal development of regenerated plants and roots by the optimal frequency and stubble height mentioned above.⑤Cutting Caragana in growing season will affect the soil nutrient content. With the cutting frequency increased, the total nitrogen, total phosphorus, available phosphorus and available kalium content reduced, while the total kalium content remained stable.
