Study On The Regeneration Characteristics Of Two Species Of Caragana And Its Application

Because of wind and sand fixation,strong tolerance and high nutritional value.Caragana has both high ecological value and feed value.It caused a waste of resources that traditional cutting ways always laying too much stress on its ecological value and giving too little care too its regeneration.The experiment takes Caragana as the study object that grows in 3 areas in central and western Inner Mongolia.In order to determine the best period of cutting ways,right cutting frequency and reasonable cutting ways,the research make observation analysis on regeneration of Caragana during the cutting time in 3 years in a row.Finally to make sure the reproducibility of Caragana,and combine its yield and nutrition to research the key technology and protection scheme of growing Caragana's cutting,which maximize the economic efficiency and ecological of desert shrub in every research area.The conclusions are as follows.(1)In the care of right cutting and frequency and suitable height,Caranaga has so strong regenerative ability that its is feasible and with no effect to its growth.(2)The most suitable cutting height of growing Caragana is 5?10cm.(3)Making sure suitable cutting frequency should base on the climate,topography,soil and so and.It suggested that cutting frequency should be every two or three years.(4)From late August to late September is the best time of cutting and cutting one line every two or three lines.Cutting tools should depend on the topography and vegetation to select.
