This study focuses on the successful development process of 20% Tebufenozide WDG, First,to screening formula.as wetting agents and dispersants to following 11 surfactants such as ammonium lignosulfonate,sodium ligninsulfonate,NNO,calsium lignosulfonate,dispersant504,sodiumdo decylsulfate,ammonium dodecyl benzenesulfonate,gleditsia powder,nekal,dispersantA and dispersantB.As following 4 materials to filler which are Kaolin, Light calcium carbonate, Bentonite and silicahydrated. As following 4 materials to adhesive which are Polyvinyl Pyrrolidone(K3o), Carboxymethyl Cellulos (CMC), Polyvinyl Alcohol (PVA) and Soluble starch. As following 4 materials to disintegrants which are Ammonium sulfate,Sodium Chloride,Urea and Sodium Bicarbonate to do experiment in order to select the appropriate additive or additive combination,and then make them into water dispersible granule product according to production process.After that,all indicators should be detect to the products based on the corresponding method, like wetting, dispersion, second dispersion, suspension, disintegration.And then put the formulation into thermal storage test under the conditions of(54±2℃)for 14 days.When thermal storage test is completed, decomposition of active ingredients should be determined by using HPLC after thermal storage, considering all factors to determine the best prescription.In the process of screening the formulation, the author also did some research on major factors of influencing water dispersible granules, and conducted a preliminary exploration on higher concentration of tebufenozide WDG.WDG has been made according to the best prescription above,and finally to test indoor toxicity,compared with a commercial suspension products with the same concentration (Trade Name:JueXiang),the major results are as follows:(1)Four kinds of reasonable formula has been found after formulation screening above,but taking all factors, the best formula has been determined in the final time.It is: Tebufenozide 20%+dispersantA (4%)+ dispersant504 (5%)+k30 (1%)+Urea(2%)+ (Kaolin 90% + Light Calcium Carbonate 10%)(Filled to 100%)(2) Thermal storage tests shows:Compared with the room temperature storage, all natures of 20% Tebufenozide water dispersible granule is stable after 2 weeks storage under the conditions of high temperature(54±2℃).The average decomposition rate of Tebufenozide is 2.46% by using HPLC,within the requirements of water dispersible granule. (3)In the study of researching the major factors of influencing water dispersible granules, the author did some research on developing the high concentration (50% active ingredient content)of tebufenozide WDG, the final results show that:tebufenozide is not suitable for being made into high concentration of water dispersible granule under the conditions that in the surfactants above as auxiliary agent.(4) Toxicity test results showed that LC50 of 20% tebufenozide WDG to the 2rd instar larvae is 387.36μg/mL,LC50 of 20% tebufenozide SC in the same conditions is 392.67μg/mL, Virulence between the two shows no significant difference.
