Forest Structure is different, its Function is different. It's an important significance to study on the relationship of Forest Structure and Function, and thorough understanding the Discipline of the Forest Function, Forest Growth and Forest Management. It can provide the theory basis for formulating scientific management measures, building Stable and Healthy Forest, maximizing the Forest Function. This research takes Badaling Xigou Water Conservation Forest as the research object, uses the "3S" technology, combines with the survey data of permanent plot and the selective information of RS and GIS, selects 8 indexes:Stand Origin, Tree Species Composition, Forest Storey, Forest Age, Canopy Density (Coverage), Litter Thickness and Soil Thickness, as the quantitative index to study on the relationship of the Water Conservation Forest Structure and Function, uses the Classification standard method, and the primarily quantitative, the qualitative compile with quantitative method, then obtains the quantitative results of the Water Conservation Forest Structure and Function, draws the level distribution of Badaling Xigou Water Conservation Forest Structure and Function. In the end, the Author analyses the research area's condition of the Forest Structure and Function. The research results show that the water conservation function of Badaling forest which is in the first rank have 9 sub-compartments, in the second rank have 105 sub-compartments, and in the third rank have 7 sub-compartments. In this research area, the characteristic of the water conservation function is the distribution contains each rank. Overall, the area of the water conservation function which is in the first and second rank is nearly 10.26% of the area, in the third rank is nearly 81.99% of the area, and in the forth rank is only 7.76% of the area. In conclusion, the Forest Water Conservation Function of the research area is appropriate.
