Base on forest multifunction management theory,the public welfare forest management pattern,“farming rather than foster”,was proposed to increase the benefit of ecology and economic,promote the enthusiasm of agroforestry production,and take the full advantage of forest.To test the possibility,we explored how management measures affect the water conservation on public welfare forest.This test was performed on the test site established in 2013,which based on the research of efficient management technique of public welfare forest fruit under the task.In this study,we established the non-dimensional estimated factor systems and models of water conservation at forest stand level to access the water conservation capacity of test site,then applied the soil water retain method to estimate the water conservation volume and appraise the water conservation function of forest with the conservation ability and volume change in test site.We also integrated the frequent method and theory me thod to screen out 13 factors of forest water conservation function,and constructed the comprehensive estimated system containing the object-level,function-level and factor-level.Based on the available research,we applied the analytic hierarchy process to weigh every factor and construct the comprehensive estimation model.In addition,we calculated the comprehensive factor on account of three transformation patterns via the model operation,then estimated the water conservation volume and processed the relative analyses.The result showed the comprehensive factor and water conservation function were 2.6293 and normal in banding pattern,2.1179 and normal in massive pattern,1.9004 and barely normal in plot pattern,2.0659 and normal in forest stand alte ration,1.8718 and barely normal in control,respectively.The water conservation volume were 436.54t/hm2,342.14 t/hm2,376.18t/hm2and 336.23t/hm2 in banding pattern,massive pattern,dot pattern and control,respectively.In addition,water conservation volume of forest stand alteration was 384.95t/hm2 and was 14.5%higher than the control,which indicated that the forest fruit management can improve the water conservation volume of high fir secondary forest.Moreover,our result showed a significantly p ositive correlation between comprehensive factor and water conservation volume?P<0.01?,and the management measure,“farming rather than foster”,can improve the forest water conservation,in which the banding pattern was the best following by massive pattern.In this study,our estimation factor of water conservation will provide a reference for construction of other forest relative function factor system.
