characters of new restore Minhui 3301 were investigated.Four parents(Minhui3301,Shuhui527,Mianhui436,Minghui86) were used to identification of phylogentic relationship.Five restorer lines (Minhui3301,Shuhui527,Mianhui436,Minghui86,Minghui63) and five male-sterile lines(â…¡-32A,LongtemptA,MinfengA,TianfengA,MinfengA) were used to creat 25 crosses by the way of incomplete dialect cross (NCâ…¡)design.Analysised one year two points in the same cultivation conditions and different environment.Analysed the combining ability of 13 quality characters(length rice,breadth rice,length/breadth ratio,chalke area,chalke rice,amylose content,gel. Consistency,geletinization temperature,protein contents,diaphaneity,milled rice,brown rice,head rice) of three lines hybrid rice which planted by one year two points in the same cultivation conditions and different environment. Base on this,we enaluated the value of hybrid rice new restores Minhui3301,in the purpose of proving some referrences in hybrid rice breeding.1. A total of 441 alleles were detected among the 4 materials, and the number of alleles for each primer pair with an average of 1.58. Cluster analysis four materials, Minhui3301,Shuhui527,Mianhui436 are ong kinds, Minghui86 is the other kind.The correlation analysis indicated that Minhui 3301,s parents is Shuhui527 and Mianhui436.2. Studies on combining ability of quality characters of Minhui 3301(1).Five restorer lines and five male-sterile lines were used to analysis one year two points of 13 quality characters, and studied on combining ability for 12 quality characters except brown rice,the results indicated that two points with the same results. (2).In the study of heritability,the broad heritability has important impact on amylose content,chalke area,chalke rice,diaphaneity,gel. consistency,protein contents,selected these characters ,we should consider both genotype and environment; the narrow heritability has important impact on length rice,breadth rice,length/breadth ratio, for those characters ,we should consider genotype.(3).Combining ability of quality characters indicated that, except brown rice,others 12 quality characters were significant difference in general combining ability and special combining ability,the results indicated that chalke area,chalke rice,length rice,breadth rice,length/breadth ratio were mainly controlled by additive effects,we should selected these characters in early age and can get big profits.The characters of milled rice,gel. Consistency,head rice,protein contents were mainly controlled by nonadditive effects.(4).The study indicated that,the relationship between general combining ability and special combining ability are not significant, but have especial relationship with the variance of special combining ability,when there are high general combining ability, and high variance of special combining ability, we can get high special combining ability combination.(5).All the studies of quality characters indicated, that restores Minhui 3301 with the best integration quality characters, and great potention and value in the production.Its parents also have great potention and value in the production. The male-sterile lines MinfengA,LongtemptA,MinfengA have the great integration quality characters, they are good male-sterile lines.
