Effects Of "Bai An Ming" Mycotoxin Absorbents On Reproductive Performance Of Swine

This study was carried out to evaluate the effect of "Bai An Ming" mycotoxin absorbents on reproductive performance of swine.80 hybrids(♀Landrace×♂Large Yolk) sows were choosed according to well body status and physical condition; parities between 2 to 5. Sows were divided into 2 groups respectively. The experiment group and the control group, Each group containing 40 sows. The experiment group were supplemented with 1Kg/t "Bai An Ming" mycotoxin absorbents. The study was carried between parturition to next parturition.10 Duroc boars were choosed to evaluate the effect of "Bai An Ming" mycotoxin absorbents on sperm quality. Duroc boars were divided into 2 groups:the experiment group and the control group. The experiment group were supplemented with 1Kg/t "Bai An Ming" mycotoxin absorbents. Sperm quality of two groups was evaluated weekly.The result showed that:(1) There were six sows which had endometritis in control group and two sows in the experiment group respectively. The result showed that "Bai An Ming" mycotoxin absorbents decreased endometritis significantly(P<0.05).(2) The experiment group complied with "Bai An Ming" mycotoxin absorbents had higher estrus rate than that of the control group(P<0.05). The estrus rate of control group and experiment group were 87.5% and 72.5% respectively. Moreover, the time of estrus of weaning sows in the experiment group was shorten significantly than that of the control group(P<0.05).(3) "Bai An Ming" mycotoxin absorbents could decrease abortion rate and increase delivery rate. Result showed that delivery rate was 91.4% in experiment group and 87.1% in control groups. Although there was no significant effect exist on litter size; Swine Litter Size Alive was significant higher than the control group because of there were much stillbirth and mummy in control group (P<0.05).(4) Diets supplemented with "Bai An Ming" mycotoxin absorbents could increase lactating piglet survival and 21 day piglet' average body weight (P<0.05).(5) "Bai An Ming" mycotoxin absorbents could increase ejaculate volume of boar. There was significant effect on ejaculate volume between the experiment and the control group. (P<0.05), but no significant difference sperm density between the experiment and_the control group. The sperm number of experiment group was significant higher than the control group because of ejaculate volume was higher in experiment group (P<0.05).(7) Sperm Motility of experiment group in tenth week were 0.74 and 0.69 in control group (P<0.05). Sperm Abnormal Rate was lower in experiment group than the control group.From the result above, we could conclude that "Bai An Ming" mycotoxin absorbents could enhance the reproduction performance of sows, decrease postpartum diseases and enhance the growth performance of piglet.
