In this paper, a field experiment under the natural rainfall condition was conducted to study the effects of seven combining applications of organic and chemical fertilizer (namely, none fertilizer, chemical fertilizer,20% of swine manure, 20% of pig manure composting,20% of the Biogas,10% of pig manure composting, 30% of pig manure composting) on upland crops'yield, quality and nutrients runoff loss. The main results were as follows:1. Compared with the pure chemical fertilizer application treatment, the yield of spring maize and cabbage could not be increased by organic fertilizer treatments significantly. But in terms of quality, the starch and protein content of spring maize and Vc and soluble sugar content of cabbage could be improved by organic fertilizer treatments.2. There were no significant effects of organic fertilizer treatments on chlorophyll content of spring maize and cabbage. Compared with the no fertilizer treatment, the Pn and Gs in functional leaves of spring maize could be increased by other treatments significantly, while the Ci and Tr of other treatments were increased except the D treatment. Compared with the pure chemical fertilizer treatment, the Gs and Ci in the functional leaves of spring maize were decreased by all organic fertilizer treatments except F treatment. The Pn and Tr were increased in C, E, F treatments. Compared with the no fertilizer treatment, the Gs, Ci and Tr in leaves of cabbage could be increased by fertilizer application treatments significantly. In terms of the Pn, decreased in D treatment and increased in other treatments. Compared with the pure chemical fertilizer treatment and except the D treatment, the Pn, Tr, Gs and Ci in leaves of cabbage were increased by the other organic fertilizer treatments.3. In corn silking stage, compared with the no fertilizer treatment, the activity of SPS in C, D, F treatments were increased. Compared with the pure chemical fertilizer treatment, the activity of NR in C, E, F treatments were increased, but the activity of SPS in all organic fertilizer treatments were increased. Compared with the no fertilizer treatment, the activity of NR in all of the fertilizer application treatments were increased greatly during the filling stage, while the activity of SPS in other treatments were all decreased. Compared with the pure chemical fertilizer treatment, the activity of NR in all organic fertilizer application treatments were decreased except the C treatment. The activity of SPS in all organic fertilizer application treatments were increased except F treatment. Compared with the no fertilizer treatment, the activity of NR is increased only in C treatment after 10 days cabbage transplanting, while the activity of SPS in other treatments were decreased. Compared with the pure chemical fertilizer treatment, the activities of NR were increased only in C, D treatment. The activity of SPS in all organic fertilizer application treatments were decreased except C treatment. Compared with the no fertilizer treatment, the activity of NR in B, E, F treatments were increased after 20 days cabbage transplanting, While only the SPS activity of C, F treatment were increased. Compared with the pure chemical fertilizer treatment, the activities of NR in all organic fertilizer treatments were increased. The activity of SPS in all organic fertilizer treatments were increased except D treatment.4. After spring maize harvest, besides the no fertilizer treatment and some individual indexes of the chemical fertilizer treatment, the soil nutrient content of all organic fertilizer treatments were increased. The pH have declined than previously. The most obvious was the chemical fertilizer treatment. After cabbage harvest, the soil nutrient content of the no fertilizer and the chemical fertilizer treatment were declined. All organic fertilizer treatments were increased.5. Compared with the chemical fertilizer treatment, the other organic fertilizer treatments could reduced the sediment nitrogen runoff loss by 1.86-6.64kg.hm-2. In the process of corn soil surface runoff, the runoff loss of NO3--N was much more than NH4+-N.Except the B,E,F treatment, the other organic fertilizer treatments could reduced the sediment phosphorus runoff loss. All organic fertilizer treatments could reduced the sediment potassium runoff loss by 0.06-4.97kg.hm-2.6. Compared with the no fertilizer treatment, the N, P, K accumulation amount of upland crop were increased significantly by all treatments. Compared with the pure chemical fertilizer treatment, the N, P, K use efficiency of spring maize and cabbage were declined in all organic fertilizer treatments, but the differences were not significant.7. Comprehensive consideration of the effects of different treatments on yield, quality, fertilizer utilization ratio and nutrients runoff loss of upland crops, the E treatment and F treatment were better than other treatments. In this experiment, the well growth condition, high yield, good quality of spring maize and cabbage were improved by the two recommendation treatments (20% of the Biogas and 30% of pig manure composting), in addition surface runoff amount of total N, total P, total K, nitrate nitrogen, NH4+-nitrogen were decreased significantly during the spring maize planting stage, and reduced the non-point pollution by upland surface runoff. Therefore, the two kinds of fertilization models could be applied in upland crops production in the future.
