The experiments were carried out in the Henan Agricultural University Science Garden from 2007 to 2009. Two winter wheat varieties with high yield potential as materials were test in this research by means of field trials and pots , experiments with three nitrogen application levels( 0 kg N / ha,180 kg N / ha,360 kg N / ha) and two sulfur application levels(0 kg S / ha,60 kg S /ha) to study the effects of different levels of sulfur and nitrogen fertilizer on material accumulation and regulation of high-yield wheat, rhizosphere ecology and yield. Main results are as follows:1 Effects on dry matter accumulation and transportation. Under different levels of sulfur and nitrogen fertilizer combined application, the effect of nitrogen is the stronger than sulfur and sulfur and nitrogen interaction and impacts flowering and maturity growth stage of the two varieties of winter wheat dry matter accumulation significantly. Flowering stage, dry matter accumulation in the two varieties were showed that the most improving dry matter accumulation fertilizer applicated level is 180 kg/ha nitrogen (N180) nutrition and 60kg/ha sulfur (S60) nutrition combined application; pre-anthesis stored assimilates were higher in Stem and Leaf and lower in rachis + hull;at the same level of nitrogen nutrition, compared with S0,S60 increased pre-anthesisi stored assimilation, and the contribution rate of total post-anthesis stored to grain is bigger than pre-anthesis, the average of Lankaoaizao 8 was 62.28% and 37.72%. Yumai 49-198 was 65.40% and 34.60%.2 Effects on pre-anthesis stored nitrogen transportation and post-anthesis nitrogen accumulation. Caltival, S, N and their interactions, nitrogen is the most effectual factor to nitrogen accumulation of stem, sheath, grain and total in tested winter wheat, and the effects were highly significant. Under the same sulfur level, nitrogen accumulation in leaves and hull+rachis were running high volume among the organs of the two caltival wheats, lower in stem and sheath; under the same level of nitrogen fertilizer, amount of remobilization and accumilation of pre-anthesis stored nitrogen under S60 were lower than S0 in Lankaoaizao 8,while Yumai 49-198 were shown differently, amount of remobilization of pre-anthesis stored nitrogen was higher under 60 S kg/ha applicated and total accumulation of nitrogen was lower than S0;the contribution rate of amount of remobilization nitrogen of pre-anthesis stored had been increased by applicated sulfur fertilizer, and the differences were not significant, after flowering stage the responses had been mixed.3 Effects on pre-anthesis carbon stroed and post-anthesis assimilated.Nitrogen nutrition showed the greatest effect, sulfur and their interaction was very small in the two varieties, and it was showed that effects to Lankaoaizao 8 was bigger than Yumai 49-198. At flowering stage ,the rule of the total above-ground carbon accumulation among all treatments in Lankaoaizao 8 is: S60N360> S0N360> S60N180> S0N180> S6N0> S0N0, Yumai 49-198 is shown S60N180 highest, followed by S0N180 and S60N360, S0N0 loweat; stem was the main carbon storage organ before anthesis in two winter wheat, followed by hull+rachil; amount of carbon remobilization was higher when applicated suphur fertilizer under the same nitrogen level in Lankaoaizao 8, while the performance of law is not obvious in Yumai 49-198 ; grain carbon of two varieties of winter wheat from post-anthesis mainly, contribution rate of carbon accumulation of post-anthesis assimilated to the grain was 58.05% averagely, 60.46% was Yumai 49-198, and was reduced after applicated sulfur under the same nitrogen levels.4 Effects on accumulation and distribution of sulfur. Nitrogen and sulfur were significantly affected sulfur accumulation in stem, sheath, leaf, glume and spike(hull +rachis ) grains of the two winter wheat, and the Effects of nitrogen was stronger than sulfur; the effect of caltival on sulfur accumulation in stem, sheath, leaf and grain all reached a level of 1% difference. leaves was the main sulfur distribution before flowring, followed by spike, sheath was least; and the distribution of the three nitrogen levels in Lankaoaizao 8 under the same sulfur level were significant or very significant difference, and was showed N180> N360> N0, while the rule of Yumai 49-198 was not obvious under S60, but under S0, the distribution rate is still showed N180 the highest, N0 lowest.5 Effects on organisms activity in rhizosphere soil. The effects of sulfur and nitrogen fertilizer combined application on amount of wheat rhizosphere microorganisms were significant, it was bigger on microbial biomass (bacteria, actinomycetes and fungi ) of Lankaoaizao 8 between the two caltivals winter wheat at different growth stages;the effects on rhizosphere soil protease and urease of Lankaoaizao 8 were significant at different stage, while Yumai 49-198 was mainly at jointing and filling stage.6 Under the same nitrogen level, the responses were different in the two winter wheat to sulfur, the yields of Lankaoaizao 8 were significantly increased after applicated sulfur fertilizer(S60)compared with S deficiency (S0) treatment under the same nitrogen level, The yield was increased 10.19% average, while the yield of Yumai 49-198 is contrary, under N360, N180, respectively, the decline were 3.20% and 2.96%, and the difference reached the level of 5%. S0N0 was the lowest production of the treatments of two winter wheat, followed S60N0, S60N360 was highest production in Lankaoaizao 8, was 8721.41Kg/ha, S60N180 slightly lower, was 8679.14Kg/ha, compared Yumai 49-198, S0N180 was 8186.11Kg/ha ,the highest production, S0N360 and S60N180 slightly followed, respectively 7972.95Kg/ha and 7943.63Kg/ha. From the economic environment and efficient perspective, applicated 60 S Kg/ha combined 180 N Kg/ha (S60N180)was the best for Lankaoaizao 8 spike Yumai 49-198.
