Pinellia ternata (Thunb.) Befit. Araceae perennial herb, with tubers medicine, traditional Chinese medicine. In this experiment, Pinellia ternata (Thunb.) Befit as raw material, adopt pot method, by test the indicators changes of Pinellia ternata (Thunb.) Befit ulbil which include leaf shape, degree of injury, protective enzyme ctivity, hormone levels and others in different concentrations of uniconazole (S3307) soaking under drought stress on the natural pearl bud leaves of Pinellia ternata (Thunb.) Befit morphological and physiological effects. From the results summarized in Report, The principal results as follows:1. Uniconazole treatment has significantly improved the role of morphological characteristics. The Pinellia ternata (Thunb.) Befit height decreased significantly using different concentration solution of unicnazole for seed soaking in natural drought stress condition the concentration of 40mg/L unicnazole the most significant treatment effect, the beads bud was reduced by 41.7% referring to blank test. Increased leaf area of ternate and reduce down seedling rate of non-physiological the lowest rate of fall seedlings is treated by 10mg/L unicnazole in the middle of natural drought stress condition from 9day to 12day. Separately lower than 21.4% and 30.0% referring to blank test.2. Pinellia ternata (Thunb.) Befit cell membrane can be well protected by Uniconazole treating. Compare with control, the hurt degree of cell membrane in bulbil leaves of Pinellia ternata (Thunb.) Befit is much slight by treat with the different concentrations of uniconazole in natural drought stress condition. As the natural drought stress became worsen, the membrane is damaged more serious. When treat with 10mg/L the relative conductivity and MDA content reduced the most, compared with the control, it decreased by 16.6% and 33.5% respectively.3.Under nature drought stress, the uniconazole was treated with different concentrations has increased the content of Relative Chlorophyll. But there are relations between rate of increases and concentrations of uniconazole. At low concentration domain (0-10mg/L), the content of chlorophyll increased company with the concentration of uniconazole while in high concentration (20-40mg/L) and the content of relative chlorophyll has a lower rate increases.4. Uniconazole help improve protective enzyme system activity. Under drought stress in nature, uniconazole treatment with different concentrations can significantly improve the activity of SOD, POD and CAT enzyme in bulbil leaves of Pinellia ternata (Thunb.) Befit. However, the activity increased at early stage but latter decreased with the natural drought stress continued.In the mid-term of natural drought stress (6d-12d), the activity increased to the most significant, in which 10mg/L concentration was the highest. Compared with the control, it increased 33.8%,186.6% and 28%, respectively.5. Uniconazole has a role to regulate the endogenous hormones of Pinellia ternata (Thunb.) Befit. Under drought stress in nature, uniconazole treatment with different concentrations makes ABA content of leaves increased in Pinellia ternata (Thunb.) Befit bulbil. Compared with the control, it increased 28.4% by an average. The IAA content and IAA/ABA ratio decreased, respectively, lower than the control 23.4% and 45.8% which shows that it can promote the synthesis of ABA, while inhibiting the synthesis of IAA in leaves of Pinellia ternata (Thunb.) Befit bulbil by different concentrations of uniconazole treating under drought stress.
