As a main economic animal, Coturnix japonica had importent roles in nutrition, medicine and investigate. Every Coturnix japonica named Savimat was breeded in a single cage. In the experimental period, the birds freely picked the feed, the potable water and 24 hours illumination, raises in the time to adopt artificially feed, the temperature, the humidity, the illumination were decided according to the conventional request. In the raising period , feed-waste and body weight were record every week and feed-meat ratio was calculated. Poultry manure was collected from 26 to 28 of the period. And then the digestibility of crude protein and crude protein fat in the feed was measured. The conventional immunity procedure and the immunity monitoring, the hygiene target conforms to bird's hygienic requirement. The experimental time was 5 weeks. After the breeding time ended, slaughter characters was determined.Single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) in OBR genes were identified and genotyped by polymerase chain reaction followed by single strand conformation polymorphism (PCR-SSCP) analysis . Correlation analysis between polymorphism of the mutational site and growth as well body composition traits was carried by the least square analysis. Main research results as follows:1. The sequence of the exon 4 in OBR gene, with a length of 204bp, was cloned and the accession number was GQ867177, the homology with OBR gene exon 4 of gallus was 100%, and the homology of turkey was 91% ; The sequence of the exon 17 in OBR gene was cloned, with a length of 172bp, the homology with OBR gene exon 17 of Gallus was 100%, and the homology of Turkey was 97% ; The sequence of the exon 20 in OBR gene was cloned, with a length of 690bp. the same homology of Gallus and Turkey was 91% .2. 3 SNPs were detected in OBR gene. C98T in exon 4, C1038T in intron 16, A260G in exon 20 of OBR gene were identified.3. Three genotypes of C98T mutation in the coding sequence of OBR gene had significant influence in Carcass Weigh/Body Weight (CW/BW) and Heart Weight (HW) (P<0.05) .AA genotype birds had significant higher HW than AB genotype birds and BB genotype birds (P<0.05), AA genotype birds had significant higher CW than BB genotype birds (P<0.05), BB genotype birds had significant higher CW/BW than AB genotype birds (P<0.05) .Three genotypes of C1038T mutation in the coding sequence of OBR gene had significant influence in digestibility of crude fat (P<0.05) , and it had highly significant influence in digestibility of crude protein (P<0.01) . It had association with Carcass Weigh Weight (CW) of 21 days , Carcass Weigh/Body Weight (CW/BW) , Semi-Carcass Weight (SCW) , Holo-Carcass Weight (HCW) , Holo-Carcass Weight/Body Weight (HCW/BW), Chest Muscle Weight (CMW), Chest Muscle Weight /Body Weight (CMW/BW), Liver Weight (LW) (P<0.2) . CC genotype birds and CD genotype birds had significant higher digestibility of crude fat and crude protein than DD genotype birds (P<0.05) .The SNP in the exon 20 of OBR gene was identified, the least square analysis showed that the genotypes of A-G mutation had significant association with Carcass Weigh (CW) of 28 days and Semi-Carcass Weight /Body Weight (SCW/BW) (P<0.05). It had association with Birth Weight , Abdominal Fat Weight (AFW), Abdominal Fat Weight /Body weight (AFW/BW) , Liver Weight (LW) (P<0.2). EE genotype birds and EE genotype birds had significant higher CW of 21 days than FF genotype birds (P<0.05) , FF genotype birds had significant higher SCW/BW than EE genotype birds (P<0.05), EE genotype birds had significant higher than EF genotype birds (P<0.05) .
