Excellent Tea plant that outstanding at quality,yield and resistance is precursor and guarantee for high benefit,increasing market competitiveness and sustainable and healthy developing of tea industry. To the area that tea industry as pillar industry, improved Tea plant has very important and profound significance.Presently ,in our country particularly in our province, working for excellent tea plant is laggard.By helping of Xinyang agricultural science institute, I have done many determination for six excellent tea cultivars that introduced in Xinyang area. With established system for integrated quantitative evaluation to tea cultivars, evaluation have done between them.Main result of determination and evaluation as fellows:1 Determination of biological characters and epidermis structure of leaves of intuoduced Tea cultivarsBiological characters and epidermis structure of leaves of intuoduced six tea cultivars have significant difference. Bi-xiangzao has the largest leaf.leaves of Ping-yangtezao and Wu-niuzao are small.Branching and bud number of three-year-old of Ying-shuang,Bai-haozao and Shu-chazao is large, they have deep potential in high yield. Branching and bud Number and One-hundred-bud weight of Bai-haozao is outstanding. Length of trichomes of Bi-xiangzao are the longest, as 617μm on average. width and density of trichomes of Bai-haozao far exceed others, trichomes's volume in unit area of its is 3.16 times than the second. Stoma of Ping-yangtezao are biggest, stoma density of its is the second. To stoma density, the most dense and the most dilute cultivar are Wu-niuzao and Bi-xiangzao, the former is 1.8 times than the latter. All the thickness of horny layer of introduced cultivars are thick, Ping-yangtezao's is the thinnest as 4.64μm and Wu-niuzao is the thickest as 6.01μm.The number of palisade cells layers of them is 1-3,Shu-chazao had three layers of that,but Wu-niuzao only had one layer of that. Average thickness of leaves of Shu-chazao is the thickest, as 328.06μm, and Ping-yangtezao's of that is the thinnest, as 221.83μm. The order form the thickest to the thinnest is Shu-chazao, Bi-xiangzao, Bai-haozao, Ying-shuang, Wu-niuzao, Ping-yangtezao. Except Wu-niuzao and Ping-yangtezao, all the ratios of palisade tissue/ spongy tissue of introduced cultivars are larger than 06.By correlative analysis of epidermis structure and resistance of their leaves, we know that Bai-haozao has the best leaf for resistance.2 Determination of quality components and photosynthetic structuresThe contents of chlorophyll a,chlorophyll b,carotenoid and the total content of chlorophyll in Bi-xiangzao were extremely significantly higher than other cultivars. Thinking from contents of chlorophyll, Bai-haozao is better; The net photosynthesis rate of Bai-haozao was significantly higher than other cultivars, and its transpiration rate was extremely significantly higher than other cultivars; Water use efficiency of Shu-chazao was extremely significantly higher than other cultivars, it is tolerant to drought; Baihaozao and Shu-chazao had high yield potentiality. Amino acid content of Ying-shuang and Ping-yangtezao is higher, as 3.90% and 3.74% on average of spring tea and autumn tea. Only Wu-niuzao's ratio of tea Polyphenols content to amino acid content is large than 7, that ratio of Bai-haozao is the lowest, as 3.7. Yingshuang, Baihaozao and Bixiangzao were better to make green tea. Aqueous extract of tea of Bai-haozao is the highest, as 41.56% on average of spring tea and autumn tea. The quality components of Ying-shuang, Bai-haozao and Bi-xiangzao were better than other cultivars.3 Integrated quantitative evaluation on character manifestations of tea cultivars introduced in Xinyang area.Thinking method based on AHP method, I have established the system for integrated quantitative evaluation on tea cultivars, with that, I have evaluate the six introduced tea cultivars. The results shows that Bai-haozao is the best variety in regardless of whether quality, resistance or yield potentiality. The order of score form the highest to the lowest as follows: Bai-haozao(88.47) >Ying-shuang(80.29) >Bi-xiangzao> Ping-yangtezao(78.08)> Shu-chazao(75.97)> Wu-niuzao(73.62). Recommend Bai-haizao as the spreading variety in south henan tea-growing region.
