To explore the effect of antibiotics to neonatal intestinal microflora, the neonatus who had infectious pneumonia were selected as case-groups, and divided into three sub-groups according to the antibiotics the patient used randomly. Taking the period when all indexes were normal as pneumonia being cured, and curing rate and time-effect were compared among groups. To explore the effect of antibiotics to neonatal and the rule of affecting, the main six microflora which can reflect the all intestinal microflora were quantitatively analysed when antibiotics had been used three and seven days respectively. The results showed that: (1) there is no significant difference onicuring rate and time-effect among the three groups, (2) antibiotics showed effect to neonatal intestinal microflora, and the longer the antibiotics was used , the more significant the effect was; (3)the group with penicillin and cynnematin simultaneously showed the most effect to intestinal microflora, and the group with cynnematin only showedmoderate effects on intestinal microflora, and the group with penicillin showed little effect to intestinal microflora; (4) among the intestinal microflora, bifidobacterium was the most obviously influenced microflora by antibiotics; (5) the ratio of bifidobacterium to Escherichia coli (the ratio of B/E) can be used to judge(screen) the state of intestinal microflora, and when the value of B/E was 1.01, the most efficacy was achieved. When curing neonatal infectious pneumonia, the broad-spectrum antibiotics should not be abused and the antibiotics should not be conjointly used randomly. The side effect of antibiotics to intestinal microflora should be considered.
