Now, many works of the study on Chinese herbal medicine have already put Dioscorea bulbifera L into the kind of the poison. Its remarkable curative effects are restricted on some diseases, such as thyroidsicks, cancers, etc, because of the toxicity of Doiscorea bulbifera L. But, the practice of neglecting its curative effects because of its toxicity is not reasonable. It is significant greatly to study systematically the toxicity of Dioscorea bulbifera L.The experiment is based on the fruits of nearest study, researches the function of Dioscorea bulbifera L liver toxicity from three phases:One, choose 1 time, 5 times and 25 times of chinical dosage and observe the dynamic process of biochemical criterion. Pathologic change .body weight and liver coefficient in mice 7 days, 14 days and 21days after the administration of medicine, in order to discuss the change law and influent factors of objective indexes of Dioscorea bulbifera L toxicity.Two Give mice Dioscorea bulbifera L, 2g/kg. d lOg/kg .d and 50g/kg .d, which continue 21 days and observe the changes of biochemical indexes, the activity of metabolic enzyme and anti-oxidation enzyme.Three, The biochemical indexes, pathology results, activity of medicine metabolizabitity enzyme and anti-oxidation enzyme in liver microsome 21 days after the administration of medicine in group of Chinese angelica to Dioscorea bulbifera L, and the ratias of Chinese angelica to Dioscorea bulbifera L are 1:1, l:2and 2:1 respectively.
