The Experiment Study Of Different Therapy On Post-Stroke Depression Rats

Objective To build the post-stroke depression (PSD) rats model and compare its effect on the hippocampi area with the generally accepted forced-swimming depression rats model. To investigate the therapeutic effect of tonifying kidney to supplement Qi, promoting blood circulation to dissipate blood stasis and eliminating phlegm for resuscitation on PSD rats. To offer the scientific study and therapeutic method for the rehabilitation of PSD.Methods By deligating the bilateral common carotid arteris permanently,we creative the PSD rat model , observe the change of the rats' spontaneous behavior and the expression of c-fos and c-jun protein of hippocampi area and analysis the relative section area ratio and the average destination gray degree titre of c-fos and c-jun positive cell in the hippocampi area by image analysis method.Results ㏕he spontaneous behavior of the bilateral common carotid arteries deligated rats decreased significantly and the expression c-fos protein of hippocampi area increased notably compared with normal groups. (2) Compared with model group, the groups taking the methods of tonifying kidney to supplement Qi, promoting blood circulation to dissipate blood stasis and eliminating phlegm for resuscitation have more aclinic spontaneous behavior (P<0.05 or P<0.01), the methods of eliminating phlegm for resuscitation has significant difference ; less expression of c-fos and c-jun of hippocampi areaobviously( P><0.05 or P<0.01).Conclusions (1)The model of deligating bilateral common carotid arteries rats is ideal for the clinical study of PSD.(2)The methods of tonifying kidney to supplement Qi and promoting blood circulation to dissipate blood stasis and Eliminating phlegm for resuscitation are effective to PSD depression rats.
