As a new variety, compound herb houttuyniae tablets has been absorbed in Pharmacopoeia of the people,s Republic of China(2000) Ι. In this study , we discuss the preparation technology , quality standard , and some other question about quality of compound herb houttuyniae preparation. 1,In order to develop and exploit the new prepare technology, the modern technique such as SFE and macroporous adsorptive resins have been adopted for extraction, separation , enriching and purifying compound herba houttuyniae preparation . Volation oils is the important active componont in herba houttuyniae. SFE were used to extract volation oils of herba houttuyniae. The extraction rates of volation oils obtained with SFE was 1.74% , and GC-MS combination were adopted. The main component were α-pinene , undecanone , laurene , lauraldehyde, etc. The results showed that the extracting rate of SFE is the highest and extracting time is the shortest. The polysaccharides of houttuynia cordata thunb were obtained by hotwater extrationand ethanol precipition . The extraction rates is 1.1%, The content of Polysaccharide Heteroglycan is 65.750.39%(n=3).Total flavonoids were the important active componont in Scutellaria baicalensis. In this study, a method for extraction and purification of the totle flavonoids in Scutellaria baicalensis using macroporous adsorptive resins was investigated. Using the totle flavonoids as the standard by ultraviolet spectrophotometry , the suitable macroporous resins were selected, and also by orthogonal experiment design of form L9(34), the three factors were concerned in this experiment, including concentration of the sample, duration time of absorbion and the concentration of alcohol. The 1300 resin had higher sorption capacity and easier desorption, and also it was the suitable macroporous resins for enriching and purifying the aim component. The optimum condition were absorbtion time 40min, the concentration of the sample 4.00mg/ml(pH5.00), and 30% alcohol as the elution reagent. This kind of resin(1300)can be used to enrich and purify the totle flavonoids of Scutellaria baicalensis. The content of the totle flavonoids is exceed 70%. Macroporous adsorptive resins was used in purifying efficiency part of the root of Isatis indigotica Fort. We collect different elution parts including water elution and 50% alcohol elution component. The polysaccharides of the water elution part of the root of Isatis indigotica Fort were obtained by hotwater extration and ethanol precipition. The active component of flos lonicerae were volation oils and chlorogenic acid. Compared water extration and ethanol precipition with macroporous adsorptive resin methods for extraction and purification of chlorogenic acid in flos lonicerae , content of chlorogenic acid was determined by HPLC. The result showed that macroporous adsorptive resins had more purify efficiency. The volation oils were extracted by steam distillation . In order to choose the optimun condition of enrichment and purify active component in Lian qiao material , we adopted the macroporous adsorptive resins technology, used TLC detection and ultraviolet assay. The result showed that 50% alcohol can almost desorpt the aim components about below Rf 0.35. At the same time , The volation oils in Lian qiao material were extracted by steam distillation .2,We studied the the effection of chemical components contents in compound herba houttuyniae with different combinations. We discuss the content of Baicalin, Chlorogenic Acid and lignans sample of Isatis indigotica Fort. in decoctions of Compound Herba Houttuyniae and Simple Recipe by HPLC. Using HPLC to determine the contents of baicalin ,chlorogenic acid and lignans in different combinations of compound herba houttuyniae. Compared with the whole compound herba houttuyniae, the content of baicalin decreased 98.7% , the chlorogenic acid content increased 20.2%, the lignans content decreased 103.9% .
