| Objective: Study and explore the nutritional condition and the kidney function of the CRF patients in taking herbal medicine to adjust their spleen and stomach. Methods: 60 cases of the CRF patients were randomly divided into 2 groups. With the same basic treatment. The treatment group (30 cases) were given the herbal medicine to adjust their spleen and stomach. The control group (30 cases) were not given. Result: the therapy of adjusting the spleen and stomach can significantly improve the nutritional condition and the SGA grade. Meanwhile. The levels of serum albumin and pre-albumin of the CRF patients were enhanced. These results of the treatment group were better than those of the control group notably (P<.05). It can also group notably. Conclusion: The therapy of adjusting the spleen and stomach can obviously improve the nutritional condition of the CRF patients, curb the further deterioration of the CRF. Improve the patients life qualities, reduce the complication and the rate of death. Postpone the time before entering dialysis therapy. So the therapy of adjusting the spleen and stomach is one of the efficient therapies of treating CRF.
