Objective: To observe the use of 1% Sodium Hyaluronate on peridural fibrosis after lumbar laminectomy and discectomy and evaluate the postoperative results. Method: The patients of lumbar disc herniation are divided into two groups:1)The Sodium Hyaluronate group uses Sodium Hyaluronate after surgery,2)The controlled group uses routine methods. To observe the use of Sodium Hyaluronate and the difference on postoperative effects of the two groups. Results: The use of Sodium Hyaluronate is easy and reliable. Sodium Hyaluronate is good at relieving pain after surgery and has no harmful reaction. The postoperative results in the Sodium Hyaluronate group is superior to the controlled group. The time to resume working in the Sodium Hyaluronate group is less than the controlled group. Conclusion: Sodium Hyaluronate is a good material to prevent postoperative peridural fibrosis after lumbar laminectomy and discectomy.
