The Internal Fixation Point Of The Lower Thoracic Spine Is Researched By Applied Anatomy

Objective: To explore the correlative of the internal fixation point of the lower thoracic spine . Methods: 40 adult spine specimens were observed and measured. Results: 1.The vertical distance between the vertebral body s superior border and the center point of the superior endplate. The distance between the costal fovea s superior border tangent and the border of the superior endplate. T9 (left: 0. 39 ± 0.533, right: 0.32 ± 0.439); TlOCleft: 1. 9025 ± 0. 67156, right:2. 0667 ± 1. 102); T11 (left: 2. 9718 ± 0. 95293, right: 3.3378 ± 0. 0. 96631 );T12( left: 4. 9795±1.05005, right: 4. 9141±0. 91712);3. The vertical distance between the costal fovea anterior border tangent and the vertebral canal's anterior border tangent. The auther assume that the costal fovea s superior border tangent were X-axis and the costal fovea s anterior border tangent were Y-axis. By the ways,the author confirm the internal fixation point. T9 left (2.35, -3), right (1.75, -3.23); T10 left (2. 11,-1.58), right (1.43, -1.46);Til left (1.72, -0.47), right (1.37, -0.08); T12 left (-0.65, 1. 60), right (-1. 03, 1. 54) . Conclusions: To confirm the internal fixation point,the author build the reference frame by the costal fovea.It is important to the preoperation s estimation, the aftertreatment s judgement and the surgery s orientation. Meantimes,the author find that 28.75% costal fovea of T12 vertebral body lie pedicles entirely.Thus, the surgeon should attach importance to the point.
