Fufang Zhujieshen Jiaonang is a preparation oftreatment rheumatoid arthritis which is used by the affiliated hospial of Hubei institute for Nationalities . ft is composed of Radix japonicus. Radix paeoniae Alba^ Bungarus Parvus. Lumbricus etc Chinese medicine herbs.The experimental study on Fufang Zhujieshen Jiaonang'_s effect of relieving pain s and resisting inflammation began in 1996 after the permit of Hubei Educational Bureau. At the end of 1997, the project was given further study after professional appraisal by the experts organized by the experts organized by Hubei Educational Bureall. According to the expertise, the technology of this project had reached the advanced level in China. The of the national new medicine research . Therefore, we did further study on Fufang Zhujieshen Jiaonang mainly on two aspects : tentative clinical curative effect observation; the control of the technology of pharmacy and its quality. In 1998 we used this medicine to treat 218 patients who suffered from rheumatoid arth ritis and the result was quite satisfactory. The total effectiveness rate reached as high as 93. 12%o Moreover , it was proved to be far from being poisonless.I. Reaserch on the technology of the preparation.In order to ensure and improve Fufang Zhujieshen Jiaonang' s quality, make the medicine widely used, relieve pains of numerous patients ofrteumataid arthtitis, do utmost for the local we have done a lot of researches of technology of pharmacythe preparation of Fufang Zhujieshen Jiaonangc We used the orthogonal design experiment method-take the product of ginsenoside' s withdrawl amount and the contain of ginsenoside-Rb! asthe quota to evaluate. The result shows that when Radix japonicus extracted by the back stream of alcohol (60%) which use 8 times as much as Radix japonicus for one and a half hours, then it is separated and purified by mesh resin, ginsenoside can be gained much and the content of ginsenoside-Rb, in ginsenosides is the highest. Therefore, this method has been proved the be the best way of extraction. It is easy to operate. Therefore, it is fit for both research and industrialization production.After starching the fresh herbs, freezing, drying and shattering, the active snake powder is for maintaining active compositions of Bungarus Parvus In this way, it has overcome the difficulties of dlting and shattering. This method is quite advanced and scientific.According to the special features of Radix paeoniae Alba and the characteristics of its main components, if we day and shatter Lumbricus we can make sure that Lumbricus be shattered successfully. In this way we reduce the shape-granted drug amount and therefore reduce excipient. Meanwhile, the operation process is easy.II. Qualitative analysisAccording to the product' s prescription and its main composition, we do a qualitative analysis experiment to its primary medicine Radix japonicus and its secondary medicine Radix paeoniae Alba, using the method of samples liquid for testing.In the experiment of thin layer chromatogram analysis of Radix japonicus, We use Oleanolic acid, Panaxadiol and Panaxatriol as the comparisons, and prepare the reagent solution through extracting to Radix japonicus by ultra-sonic extraltion with Methanol, dealing the extralt by backflow hydrolysis with the mixture of sculpture acid and 30% alcohol, shaking and txtralting with Chloroform, cleaning impurity up with water and then dissolving the extract with Methanol, The next step is , (after we prepare the keagent solution) speparating thin layer chromatogram analysis from itwith Silica gel-G, spread out with Benzene- Ethyl acetate (1: 1), and then making the colour show by adding 10% sulphuric accohol in it . The kesult is that the keagent shows the same colour spots at the same position with the comparisons but has no interference to the rest comparisons, which proves this method is scientific, advanled and practicable in the identification.
