ObjectiveCorneal neovascularization ( CNV) was common in corneal diseases, which was caused by many reasons. Neovascularized cornea wound be rejected for the reason that the normal corneal structure was changed. As the degradation product of plasminogen, protein Kringle1-5 cound inhibit the vascular endothelial cell and had antiangiogenic ability. To observe the inhibitory effects on the corneal neovascularization , we used the human protein Kringlel - 5 eye drops in this study.Methods(1) Established the animal model; using sutures induced the neovascularization in the mono cornea of the healthy New Zealand rabbits. (2) Radomed 2 groups:the K1- 5 treatment group and the control group ; the treatment group recieved 1.5MG/L human Kl - 5 protein ,the control groupreceived the PBS eye drops. All eyes received eye drops 4 times a day and chloramphenicol eye drops 4 times a day, too. (3) Observed the length and area of corneal NV , and observed the edema of cornea also by using the slitlamp. Killed some rabbits in the 5th,10th day and the 20th day . Corneal tissue wound be in the pathology (HE and immunohistochemistry). (4) The time of NV entering the cornea, the longest length of NV and the area of NV wound be analysised by statistics.
