Objective: To study the influence of culture supernatant of psoriatic PBMC on colony-forming units of bone marrow hematopoietic progenitor cells, reveal the activity of peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMC) in psoriasis and explore the activity of bone marrow hematopoietic cells of the patient with psoriasis. Methods : Erythroid and granulocyte-macrophage colony forming units(CFU-E and CFU-GM) of bone marrow cells from healthy individual were examined in vitro using methyleellulose culture with culture supernatant of psoriatic PBMC and normal PBMC.Results: Both CFU-E and CFU-GM of normal bone marrow cells were significantly lower in the groups being stimulated by the culture supernatant of psoriatic PBMC than the groups being stimulated by the culture supernatant of normal PBMC and the control groups (p<0.01), but there was no obvious difference between the groups cultured with supernatant of normal PBMC and the control groups. Conclusion: The activity of psoriatic PBMC is deviant, which can inhibit the ability of bone marrow hematopoietic cells. So we can infer that the bone marrow hematopoietic microcircumstance and the activity of psoriatic hematopoietic cells be abnormal.
