| Objective: To observe the therapeutic effect and ill effect of BuShenZhuangGu capsule in treating knee joint osteoarthritis,and to investigate its possible mechanism.Methods: All 90 cases that were collected from orthopaedic department of Affiliated Hospital of Shandong University of TCM were randomly divided into three groups including testing group,contrastive group and blank group.Each group include 30 case.BuShenZhuangGu capsule and simulational medicament was used in testing group,ZhuangGuGuanJie pill and simulational medicament used in contrastive group,and only simulational medicament used in blank group.Results:theThere are quite difference in comparison with pretreatment and post-treatment symptom in testing and contrastive groups.The effect is best in testing group than contrastive group and blank group.The total effective rate in testing group is 93.33%,and the apparent rate is 56.67%.Conclusion:BuShenZhuangGu capsule in prensent dimension of dosage and course is safety and has no ill effect.It is an operative medicine in treating knee joint osteoarthritis.
