Objective: Acute bacterial peritonitis is one of common diseases in surgery practices. It can elicit topical inflammation at abdominal part. When topical inflammation was loss of control, acute bacterial peritonitis can lead to the systemic disorder, which can elicit series of reactions in mononuclear phagocyte system, then a great amount of associated intermediate and cytokine will be released. It seriously influences suffers' living quality, and induce the patients' death ultimately. In order to find more effective treatment, we research the therapeutic effect of Dachengqi granules on acute bacterial peritonitis in mice. Methods: Experiment 1: 1. Model Established: Intraperitoneal injection of Bacillus coli suspl was deployed as acute bacterial peritonitis model in mice. 2. Groups and Dosage regimen: Mice were randomly divided into six groups: normal group, model group, excipient group (4g/kg) and Dachengqi granules groups: low dose(12.5g/kg), middle dose(25.5g/kg) and high dose(51g/kg). Before making acute bacterial peritonitis model, Dachengqi granules and excipient were given to the corresponding therapeutic groups, and then was continued at the same time for three days. Saline was given to mice of normal and model groups according to the same method. At the forth day, intraperitoneal injection of Bacillus coli suspl was deployed as acute bacterial peritonitis model in mice. Abrosia must be performed for 16h before making model and medicine were immediately given for once after making model. 3. Items of observation: the mortality in 24h.Experiment 2, 3, 4: 1. Model Established: the same to experiment 1 2. Groups and Dosage regimen: the same to experiment 1 3. Items of observation: the serum concentration of nitric oxide, tumor necrosis factor-a; interleukin-1β and interleukin-6 in mice 14 hours after making modelResults: 1. Compared with the model group, the mortality was...
