Background:High-sensitivity C-reactive Protein(hs-CRP) is an important marker of inflammation and a predictor for cardiovascular disease. The elevation of serum levels of uric acid has a close relationship to cardiovascular events. There are little repotes about the Correlation between high sensitive Creactive Protein, uric acid and coronary artery disease. Objective:To study the correlation between high- sensitivity C-reactive Protein(hs-CRP). Seru uA and the range of coronary lesions, the severity of coronary stenosis score, the morphology of plague. Methods:To measure the levels of hs-CRP, uA in 80 patients with uAP, 32 patients with AMI, 56 patients with SAP and 72controls (patients without coronary heart disease). All patients (with or without coronary heart disease ) were performed coronary angiography. The patients with coronary heart disease were divided into groups of vessel disease, two vessel disease, three vessel disease. The severity of coronary stenosis was evaluated using Gensini score methord. The plague were divided into type I, type II and type III using the method of Ambrose and Lo.Results:?The levels of hs-CRP in AMI group, UAP group and SAP group were significantly higher than control group (PO.05). The levels of uA in AMI group, UAP group and SAP group were significantly higher than control group (PO.01). ?The severity of Gensini score in AMI group was significantly higher than UAP group (3)The incidence of type I lesions in SAP group was significantly higher than AMI group and UAP group; The incidence of type II lesions in UAP group was significantly higher than that of SAP group. @No difference was found on the levels of hs-CRP between each two plague types with coronary heart disease. ? NO difference was found on the levels of uA between each two plague with coronary heart disease. ? The level of hs-CRP was correlated with the severity of coronary stenosis. There were significant differences found between single vessel disease and two vessel disease, and so on(P<0.05.). ?There were significant differences found on the levels of uA in single vessel disease, in the two vessel disease, in the three vessel disease than controls(P<0.01). But no difference was found between even two of all three type of coronary artery disease(P<0.05).Conclusion:The level of hs-CRP was correlated with severity of coronary artery disease. The level of uA was not correlated with severing of coronary artery disease.
