Purpose: To observe the experiment, 40 rabbits were divided into 4 groups randomly: normal control group (group A), model group (group B), Yinqiaosan group (group C), Boheyin group (group D). Endotoxin were injected into group B, C, and D by mainline with the dose of 10 μg/Kg, namely evil-attacking, as physiological saline was done in group A with the same dose. After 0. 5 hour and before 2 hours, Yinqiao decoction and Bohe decoction was respectively injected intraperitoneally into group C and group D with the dose of 7μg/Kg. At the same time physiological saline was done in group A and B with the dose of 7μg/Kg. Blood was taken from their aural marginal vena to exam WBC and PLT while some was taken from heart to exam the level of ET. Finally, lungs, livers, hearts, spleen and kidneys were taken to exam their histopathology.Result:1. Bohe decoction could improve the symptoms and signs;2. Change of temperature: Temperature of group B increaseed compared with that of group A (P<0. 01). Temperature of group C and group D decreased comparing to that of group B (P<0. 01~ P<0. 05), but temperature of group D was lower than that of group C, which was similar to that of group A.3. Change of WBC: WBC of group B increased comparing to that of group A (P< 0.01) ; WBC of group C and D all decreased comparing to that of group B(P<0. 01~P<0. 05).4. Change of PLT: PLT of 4 groups were almost the same.5. Change of ET: The level of ET in group B and C increased compareing to that of group A, and there is no distinct difference between group A and D;6. Pathological observation: The lungs of group B and group C were congested lightly with a few small bleeding spots on the surface of lungs in group B. Liver of one rabbit in group B was congested lightly. There were no obvious changes in the others.Conclusion:1. At the stage of Weifen Syndrome in Seasonal Febrile disease Bohe decoction can not only improve the symptoms and signs and treat the fever of the model rabbits, but also can ameliorate the indexes of the blood, such as WBC, ET, and reduce the damage on some organs at the pathological aspect. The effect was better than that of the Yinqiao decoction.2. The results of the experiments proved that heat toxin, the first cause of Weifen Syndrome, resulted in blood stasis, vital Qi deficiency and body fluid. And the latter will aggravate the heat toxin reversely. Thus, more attention must be paid on clearing heat, resolving toxin and dispelling evils to clear the leading on the treatment of Qifen syndrome in SFD.3. Change of ET show that dysfunction of hemopexis is similar to blood stasis, so drugs for activating blood and resolving stasis is necessary for treatment before symptom.4. Deficiency prevention could not be neglected while relieving toxin with cold and bitterness, and activating blood and resolving stasis in Weifen of SFD, which could invigorate Qi and support right.
