Objective:To investigate the relationship between nuclear factor-Kappa B(NF-κB) and FRNS, to evaluate the value of NF-κB in predicting relapse, to observe the levels of NF-κB effected by Shen Kang Ling and further explain the anti-relapse mechanism of Shen Kang Ling. Methods: 40 patients with FRNS were randomly divided into group A (Shen Kang Ling +Westen medicine) and B (Westen medicine) , 20 healthy subjects served as group C, Group B severd as the control group. Prednisone was adopted inducing remission, transplanting and tapering methods; T11 was adopted 24 weeks methods; or CTX was took orally 8 weeks or vein pulsion; Shen Kang Ling was given at 150ml/time, bid for three months. Vein blood samples of the patients were collected at 8 o' clock in the morning for testing before and after 3 months of the treatment. NF-κB was tested by the way like ELISA. Statistical analysis was performed on SPSS 12. 0 system software. Results: The levels of plasma NF-κB of the cases with FRNS at relapse were markedly higher than those at remission and group C( P<0.01). After completion of therapy , there were not remarkable difference between group A and group C (p>0. 05); the levels of plasma NF-κB was not remarkable difference between group B and group C(p>0. 05); Effect of group A was better than that of group B after...
