Study Of Bushenzhuanggu Capsule's Effect On Nitric Oxide (NO) In Osteoarthritis (OA)

Osteoarthritis (OA) is a sort of chronic joint disease, whose pathogenesis has not been known clearly. There is no specific drug that can cure the disease home and abroad at present. TCM therapy by overall analysis has marked efficacy, but there are few studies of its mechanisms. This study consists of two parts: the clinical study and the experimental study. We designed the "Bu Shen Zhuang Gu" capsule to treat patients of OA. The results indicated that the capsule has marked efficacy with the total effective rate of 90%. According to the pathogenesis of OA, we select the animal experiment model and engage in the science experiment. The conclusion of the study not only indicated the mechanisms of NO, but also indicated the mechanisms of TCM therapy on OA. So it provided us a handy, economical, efficient treatment of OA.
